I've put a dozen different spools of flux core wire through my welder over the past year. I've used all the big brand name wires as well as some of the super cheap off-brand stuff. Of all of them, I like this the best. It seems to produce less splatter and I can get consistent welds. I've welded flat, overhead and vertical with it and it seems to perform regardless of position. This product is worth the money. I’ve been welding for about a month now and this is the wire that I will be sticking to. It’s durable great on a bunch of different levels. And will definitely be buying again.

This flux core comes with very durable spools. The spools weigh 2 pounds, and come vacuum sealed for long term storage without rusting. Flux core tends to put out more heat than typical gas MIG wire. These spools are easy to use, fit well into small or large welders, and I don’t run into any issues with magnetized metal when welding with this wire. The price in comparison to the weight is a great value. The spatter is average, but the welds look very clean. The wire is multi-pass rated. ... show more

The wire works fine, I had no issues with the welds I got with it. I typically use solid wire and gas because it produces a much cleaner weld but I was out of gas and didn't have the money to fill my tank. To say I was surprised is an understatement! I saw show down review of this wire and was very impressed. After using it personally, I won't go back to anything else for flux core. I'm no professional, just a self taught hobbyist on a budget mostly.. But this wire with my tiny little Reboot brand welder completely floored me. Quick and dirty test using two fender washers.. Heat about half way up at around 55 amps(probably could have backed the heat off a bit). This wire produced absolutely no spatter at all, no thick layer of slag left on the bead, and only a light layer of flux that very easily came off with a wire wheel. In my opinion everyone should try this wire, especially if you're having trouble or just learning. ... show more

I have utilized the cheapest flux core wire from harbor freight for years. I finally seen yes wider wire for less than the cost of 2 rolls at hbf and jumped on the deal! I’m impressed with the quality of yes welder wire

Big fan of hobarts flux core. But wasn't super excited about the price. This had good reviews (even thought its from China) and a lot cheaper. Used this in my little Lincoln welder and was able to weld 1/8 inch steel without issue and it turned our really clean. Barely any clean up afterwards. Very happy with it. ... show more
