I'm just about to finish my 1st 2lb spool of this stuff and it's been fantastic. Welds come out clean and low spatter (notably, I also use Weld-Kleen 350 anti-spatter which also helps). I've been using Blue Demon wire for the last couple years on a Harbor Freight Titanium Easy-Flux 125 machine (which I love and recommend for amateurs like myself), but jumping to this Yes Welder wire has been a major improvement. BD is a solid product but it's now out of budget. I would usually buy 10lb spools of BD and re-spool into 2lb spools, but what started at $7/2lb a few years back, is now over $13/2lb today. My 1st order of YW wire came out to about $8/2lb for 6 rolls, I don't need to re-spool them, and the results are great. Although I've only used one roll so far, and still have 5 more on the shelf, I'm going to stock up on some more to make sure I don't run out any time soon. ... show more

I purchased a spool of the .030 size because the price was right ($14) and it had one day shipping. After running the last bit of Lincoln wire through my $100 Tooliom welder, I slapped in the YESWELDER wire and proceeded to lay down a very low-spatter weld, with a smooth, stable arc characteristic. I've put a dozen different spools of flux core wire through my welder over the past year. I've used all the big brand name wires as well as some of the super cheap off-brand stuff. Of all of them, I like this the best. It seems to produce less splatter and I can get consistent welds. I've welded flat, overhead and vertical with it and it seems to perform regardless of position. This flux core welding wire works excellent and is a great price. I recommend it if you are a hobbyist or a home user for flux core welding. It feeds really well and gives a nice clean Weld.

I bought this wire to use in a Hobart Handler 135. I haven't used it yet, but my son has. He said it feeds nice and does a better job than the last wire I had in the welder. Will buy again when needed. We use it for horseshoe art and small projects around the house. We are not professional welders.

Works as it should. I’m man enough to say the welds I produce are my own fault and not because of the wire. Make sure the spool is tight enough to keep the wire from slipping and making a nest of wire. I’d even suggest putting a piece of tape over the wire to make sure it doesn’t unspool before setting the tensioner correctly. ... show more

This flux core comes with very durable spools. The spools weigh 2 pounds, and come vacuum sealed for long term storage without rusting. Flux core tends to put out more heat than typical gas MIG wire. These spools are easy to use, fit well into small or large welders, and I don’t run into any issues with magnetized metal when welding with this wire. The price in comparison to the weight is a great value. The spatter is average, but the welds look very clean. The wire is multi-pass rated. ... show more
