What I like most: 1. Solid product-built quality and with UL safety certification: the product looks good at unboxing, power cord is trick and sturdy, and it passed UL certification. 2. This charger is a handy little unit that I recommend to anyone who has an existing 220V outlet. It's fine used out of the box. It's easy to install with a metal bracket and a chunky plug. The bracket locks to the charger with two finger screws. I recommend to replace those with a more tamper proof solution if theft is a concern. In my opinion this is a strict indoor unit. The tokens to enable the charger are a nice gimmick but unless it's installed at a place that is accessible to others not really needed. It offers a WiFI hookup to the internet and an RJ45 Ethernet port. Mine doesn't have the SIM-card slot that is advertised in the manual. No big deal, I don't need it anyway. Ethernet on the other hand is something that I always prefer over WiFi. The connector is at a bad spot though. It's almost impossible to not kink the LAN cable against the thick charger cable. Another observation is that the white cable from the plug is cut off internally. I assume the two hot wires are combined inside the plug. I can't say if that safe or legal, or not, but I don't like it. But now the main reason why while it worked I upgraded to another charger. First because as I mentioned it's IMO not an outdoor unit. I decided I want my charger next to the driveway. I use my garage often to work on my cars which creates an issue with charging my daily driver. Second is that I find it safer to hard wire such a powerful device to the breaker box. Having an outlet is convenient and makes installing easier but plugs introduce a point of failure into the system. If all that isn't a concern then this charger might be the right one. As a graduation present, my niece got her first car and was lucky enough to get an electric vehicle. While she had a charger at her parents house she did not have one at her boyfriends. When I came across this I just had to give it a try. My husband installed it for her and he said the installation was pretty straightforward and everything felt really well-made and not like it is going to burn down the house. The one thing that he thought was really neat was that you could set the charge times ... such a simple idea but I can see where that would be really beneficial. After seeing this one, my sister-in-law is considering changing out the one in her garage. I am really glad I picked this up and I would definitely get it again. 5 STARS ... show more

Lets be honest I was weary buying a non brand EV charger but I am glad I got this charger. The build quality is great. Everything about the charger feels high quality (from the looks, feel, etc). I like the look of the design (looks modern and contemporary). The cable is thick and heavy. It is even UL listed so you know this is safe to operate. There are two key bonus with this charger. 1. This charger has an App for your cell phone. You can monitor your car battery state of charge. 2. The charger is portable. You can take it with you and plug this charger into any 220V (ie electric dryer) and use the long 21 ft charging cable to charge your car. In the past, we have to resort to level1 charging when traveling to places without build in charger. ... show more

The product arrived intact in the box. A quality electric charger.I can use it from the phone with WiFi or RFID.Charge status indicator LED.it Charges fast, the charging cable is 21 ft long so it reaches enough.I can charge it for about 6-7 hours in the evening.
