Compact unit is good for emergency. I used it to top off all 4 tires that were each 5-6 lbs low. Easy to attach, and stopped at preset amount. Seems really loud to me, about the same as a larger compressor. Works fine, but vibrates a lot (I was holding it during use) and does get rather hot even after less than 5 minutes. It dropped one bar of charge after first use. I will recharge fully and see how long it lasts. Will update review later. ... show more

I'm a fan of this little guy! Size-wise, it's about 7"x2"x2 3/4". You could fit this into cargo pockets if you really wanted to. The whole shebang fits into the included bag without getting creative. I used to have the old portable compressors that look kinda like an iron, and those were way bigger than this plus had to be plugged in to work. Feature-wise, it's amazing. The auto-cutoff worked like a charm, the flashlight was plenty bright for pumping up my tires in the dark, the blinking red lights are sensible for low-light situations, the connection fit snugly, and I wasn't finding anything lacking at all when dealing with tires. This compressor is within the price range of a gift, so one of the big things that I think matters for this is how intuitive it is. I've got some bad news and some good news. The bad news is that the metrics don't start on psi. Instead they were some metric thing that would definitely confuse a non-mechanical person who didn't have the instructions. So if you're giving it as a gift in person or putting it in a car for somebody else, then you should turn it on first and switch the metrics to the numbers they expect. The good news is that I handed this to an adult, and they figured out the basic "fill a tire" operations without any input or instructions. It's intuitive! Talking about charging and battery, I was happy with what I've seen so far. Mine arrived just a hair over 1/2 full, and I didn't lose a bar pumping four tires from ~28 - 35. I don't know how well it will hold a charge when left in a car for months, but it can be charged in the cigarette lighter in a pinch. Speaking of that, I'm a huge fan of how interoperable it is for charging. It can charge and be charged in multiple ways, and I'm a big fan of that kind of convenience when you might not know what you'll have on hand if you need it. It's usually no fun to fill the tires on my car, because I either have to set up and run my shop compressor, or I have to drive to a gas station and spend a couple dollars to use their machine. So I was quite happy to find this portable compressor. It feels well-built, it works quite well, and the interface is very intuitive. It took just over a minute per tire to take them from about 24 psi to the specified pressure of 32 psi. I like that there are several ways to charge the battery, including USB and the car's accessory plug. I also like the flashlight and hazard light features. There are several cords and adapters included in the package, as well. I have only two minor criticisms. First, it would be nice if there were a way to remember the last value entered at each preset (car, motorcycle, bicycle, ball). As it is, each preset starts at a default pressure every time it's activated. For example, the car preset starts at 36 psi, and you have to step the pressue to the specific value you want. There is also a custom preset that, according to the manual, is supposed to store the last setting, but I was unable to get it to bring up anything other than the default value (150 psi). Second, the battery indicator seemed to drop almost immediately after fully charging the unit when I turned it on for just a couple seconds. I was able to fill all four tires on the car without it dropping further, but I wonder if the charge indicator is accurate. Overall, I'm quite pleased with this product. I live in Colorado, and getting a flat tire in winter in the evening is a nightmare. Having to change a tire and slushy snowy environment hoping that another car is not going to slide into you is not a pleasant experience. I had a slow leak in one of my tires, that was bad enough that I could not ignore it but not serious enough that it prevented me from driving a few miles. Because I had this tire inflator, I was able to make it to a service station and get my tire repaired. If you have a blowout, this is not going to help you reinflate it, but if you have a low tire then this is the ticket. It has a large display, is easy to use, and as long as you know what you're doing you will never over or under inflate your tire. Definitely worth the money. ... show more

Packaging is simple and straight forward as are the instructions. Without charging it had 3/4 battery outta the box. It has all needles and attachments you might need to air up whatever might need some air. It also has a convenient light on the end where the air hose attaches which makes it easy to put the air hose on in the dark and see what you’re putting air in. It even has a red light setting so you can see what you’re doing and avoid shining light at oncoming traffic if airing a tire roadside at night. I was able to air up two full size tires from flat (10psi) to 38psi before the unit was flashing last battery. It took roughly about 7 minutes for each tire and I was good to go. You can charge it on the go via 12v car charger or usb c which is nice. Based off initial use and features of this unit I would highly recommend it as it’s perfect to keep in a center console or cargo area and could get you out of a jam if you find yourself needing air in your car tire or even a football or basketball when playing sports. 10/10 5*s very happy with product. ... show more
