This was so easy to put together! It came with most of tools needed. You do need a Phillips Screw Driver. I was a bit concerned as I was reading the instructions because it said a pistol grip drill was required and I don’t have one. But all the holes were pre-drilled. 55" Natural color Where to start... so many lies on the product page it's hard to think why others gave a good review, maybe no one has a "good desk" to compare it with? 1) The desk surface is not natural, it's "rustic unfinished". Completely different tone than the pictures. All grains are out. Surface has dips and holes (not the holes for mounting!). 2) The electronics does not look like on the picture, it has no numeric LCD showing the height. Only 4 buttons in a piece of black plastic. Cheapest piece of thing among all the adjustable tables I've ever seen or bought. 3) The cross axle that drives the desktop up/down is only 1/4" and flexes under torque through the length (I've got the longest table) so much that if you have something "heavy" on one side, it'll not lift. 4) The motor is connected to the cross axle with a 1/2" long plastic hex that will round/strip out in a short time with any load on the desktop. Other tables I have use a 4-5" extension with metal hex insert to slide the axle into. Extremely disappointed! Going back to amazon ASAP. ... show more

The desk only took me about an hour to assemble and the instructions were great. It is super quiet and smooth. Unfortunately, the two wooden pieces that make the table part came damaged. It’s too much of a hassle to return it so I’m not going to do that but for over $200, I would’ve liked it to not have dents and scratches. ... show more

    • Pistol Drill NEEDED

If you do not have a power drill or know someone who can help with that, then you won’t be able to put it together. You need a drill for this desk. The desk is very sturdy and I love it but it was such a hassle for me to put it together. I just moved to a new city so I don’t have anyone to help me with the drill. So I bought a cordless pistol drill to assemble it on my own but it’s not powerful enough. I ended up hiring someone from Taskrabbit to help me so I can use my desk instead of throwing it away. ... show more
