Quite pleased with the cable, the construction quality, and it was well packaged. Getting exactly as advertised: 4K, HDR, 120Hz support (plus audio). Source: RTX 3090 on Windows 10. I was concerned at first when I plugged it in that, while the TV was detected by my PC, there was no video. I first checked several display settings on the PC and verified the input on the TV. Went to check the connector ends were secured and checked for damage and found that one connector had “Source” and the other had “Display” on it (as one side seen in my photo and product photo). Wouldn’t you know it, I had it the other way round. Swapping the connections appropriately, it worked exactly as expected. I’ve personally not seen an HDMI cable where the orientation matters so just something to be aware of. I’ve had other high speed (though, not HDMI 2.1 or 48Gbps claimed) and it didn’t matter before so I didn’t think to check. Ultimately, I’m very satisfied with the quality and workmanship. ***Update*** January 2022 — still working great. Though I was concerned with it being a fiber cable, (carefully) rerouting a couple times since purchase has contributed no issues. Still very happy with the product. ... show more

    • Hooray!!! My Prime Video issue is solved!

For about a year now, I have been limited as to how I watch my Amazon Prime videos. Prime Video has always worked great on my Vizio and Hisense TV's, it's worked great on my OnePlus phones, it's even worked great on my cheap $120 Android tablet...but, then, there's my DELL G5 gaming laptop. Now, don't get me wrong. Prime Video works fine on the laptop as long as I play it through a browser or use the Windows app. But, hook an HDMI cable up to it and try to export Prime Video to an external source like a TV? NOT HAPPENING. Hulu worked with HDMI just fine. Disney+ worked with HDMI just fine. Paramount worked with HDMI just fine. My STEAM games worked with HDMI just fine... So, why, then would I get nothing but a black screen with Prime's menus, yet no video picture? I read multiple forums, I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, I tried changing the display settings on the laptop, I switched cables, I tried different TV's...nothing worked. And, I was completely frustrated. Taking one last shot out of pure desperation, I ordered this 8k cable and hooked it up. Try and imagine the complete joy, the utter jubilation, the tears of joy forming in my eyes...when I looked up at the TV screen, and there, my friends, was a moving picture!!! I can only assume that this new cable was designed for more bandwidth (or higher data rate) than my others? Maybe it was just as simple as my HDMI cables not being up to 4K standards...It has to be that. Well? Whatever the case may be, this was a cheap $10 fix that has made me a happier man. 5 stars for that alone. ... show more

I looked at a bunch of different cables and these had the shortest strain relief boot which makes it easier to fit in the space behind the soundbar. Big improvement in picture (less grain) over the old stock cables that came with the TV/soundbar. Price was amazingly cheap considering the quality.

Bought 2, one for ps5 one for PC plugged the. Both in, both worked. Played by pc for an hour or so went back to the ps5 and it stopped working within that time frame. I have learned my lesson. Never buy furniture or electronics from Amazon. Hopefully the other one lasts.
