  • solid rack, easy to install, hitch lock and bike locks included
Size: 2"
One of my favorite tray racks for 2 bikes. Comes with major parts assembled. Requires a 15 minute install to complete the rest. Wrench provided for bolts needed on spine and hitch assembly. Solid rack, well built, doesn't move much in the 2" hitch once tightened properly. Two Keys provided for 2 cable locks and hitch lock. ... show more

  • This is a great bike rack!
Size: 2"
I couldn’t be happier with this bike rack. It’s a little work to assemble but it’s all straight forward. Once it’s done, putting the bikes on and off is a snap. And it holds nice and tight. If you use a bike rack regularly, it’s worth the price. If you only use a bike rack a few times a year, a cheap one will be fine. ... show more

  • Works well
Size: 2"
The assembly instructions were less than clear but I was able to assemble the rack with not too much trouble. The rack works very well. The only issue is that the rack is VERY heavy (over 50 lbs) and I can't just leave it in place because it blocks the vehicle backup camera.

  • Engineered well
Size: 2"
I'm very happy with this purchase after doing a lot of research of other brands. I was hoping not to have to spend so much, but in this case you get what you pay for. Installing was a breeze. It folds up beautifully when you're not using it. Fit and finish is perfect. The ability of it to tip away from the back hatch with bikes loaded to open the hatch is wonderful! I'm very happy with this purchase! ... show more

  • works as expected
Size: 2"
This seems to be a very solid and well designed bike rack. We have 27.5" and 29" wheel mountain bikes, and they both fit very well on this. There is contact between the tire "hook" of the rear bike and the rear frame of the front bike, but I am able to pad it with a piece of foam plumbing insulation. Assembly is quite easy, if you following the clear instructions. Observe the logo orientation on the parts during assembly, and you'll have no problem. The cable locks are short, which limits where you can attach them. They are a "cute" idea, but I seriously doubt they will prevent theft. I used them as another level of safety during travel, but that's all. My one concern is the screw assembly that tightens the shaft which inserts into the trailer hitch. It requires a LOT of torque to get the rack to not wobble, and I fear that if the screw ever broke there would be no way to remove the rack. The screw is an OK size, but I wish it were much, much heavier duty. I have had to re-tighten this with use, and only time will tell how durable this is. BTW, the manual advises that Yakima is not responsible for where the rack attaches to the vehicle. How convenient for them, eh? IF this doesn't fail, it will be a great bike rack, worth 5 stars, and one that I will gladly recommend. If it fails it may require removing the trailer hitch if the shaft if bound up. ... show more

  • Pricey… but
Size: 2"
Price is a bit much imho… but you get what you paid for. As I get older, I realize putting the bike on the car’s roof up and down not only a tedious job but, a hazard to your car and your health… 🤣 That, if you are a car Nut like myself. The time to load and off-load using this platform is so easy and Secure, you forget the price you paid for it and brings a smile to your face. Although, I have to personally install and aftermarket tow hitch myself to save some $$$. It is VERY STABLE! Putting it together was easy. Used once… looking forward to warmer spring, Summer and Early fall rides to NY upstate. ... show more

  • Happy with my buy
Size: 2"
Bought a two up planning to up grade some day to a full suspension bike. I knew this would require a platform rack so I just bought one right away. I love it. I can load two bike and lock them in less than a few minutes, same with unloading. So fast.
