  • FAIL SAFE BUTTONS: Illuminated "Fail Safe" buttons for each circuit. For potential diagnostics purposes the buttons on the digital switch box will illuminate when the respective circuit is ON/Energized
  • LAST MODE MEMORY: The system remembers which circuits were ON when Master Power is used to turn the entire system OFF. Then when the system is turned back ON using the Master Power button, all of the "Last Mode" circuits will also be turned back on
  • EIGHT CIRCUITS: With eight total circuits, NAV, anchor, bow, midship, stern, and accessory 1-3 button functionality, along with integrated Bluetooth and a mobile app, full control of your 12- volt power and electronics will always be at your fingertips. Spend less time rigging and more time fishing
  • NAV BUTTON FUNCTIONS: First "Click Press" energizes BOTH the NAV circuit and Anchor Circuit. Button turns GREEN (Go/Moving/Navigating). "Click Press" turns OFF NAV circuit but leaves Anchor Circuit ON. Button turns RED (Stopped/Anchored). "Click Press" turns OFF Anchor Circuit. Button turns back to WHITE (all NAV lights are OFF). REPEAT above sequence with each "Click Press"
  • NOTE: Make sure the plug-and-play connectors are completely pushed together when connecting the system together. Yak-Power uses our own custom tooled, high tolerance, very snug fitting connectors with larger gauge, real copper wire to ensure a quality, weatherproof and reliable connection

I bought the Yak Power 5 circuit at first and after cutting a huge hole to fit it in, I changed my mind to get the 8 circuit instead. I really like the 8 much better for more than one reason. First, I have extra circuits available if or when needed. The panel only requires a very small hole to run the wire through the kayak I am using to wire in place vs the 5 circuit requires a 2-1/8" hole, so upgrading later causes you to have to fill in a huge hole from the 5 circuit model which I ended up doing. I plastic welded the hole and this panel on the 8 circuit doesn't cover the entire hole from the 5 circuit model, so do yourself a favor and get this one first instead of possibly upgrading later. This one comes with Bluetooth built in so that you can control using your phone also if desired and since I mounted mine to the front side of my kayak deck side, I will likely use my phone. I think if you are wanting the system, go with the 8 circuit and not the 5 circuit for multiple reasons and the biggest if because of the large hole needed where this one doesn't need it. ... show more

    • The Quality You Expect From Yak-Power
Yak-Power sells some high quality stuff and this is no different. It was easy to install and the Bluetooth works great with my iOS. We have all had picky devices that take several tried to get them to sync but I have never had a single issue with this switch. I wish this was available when I was adding accessories to my Polaris Ranger. It would have worked perfectly to streamline everything into one waterproof unit. If I ever upgrade my buggy, it will have one of these in it. ... show more

I would like to start out by saying this is an excellent product but is about $60 more expensive than it should sell for. I guess you can gouge people if you have a unique product that other companies have not provided competition for. I still gave it a 3 star rating because it functions very well but I hope other companies will give Yak-Power some competition so they would be forced to sell this product at the price point it should be. Other than that, I would recommend this product to a rich friend who has plenty of money to spend on his or her kayak. ... show more

This is a great system when using it manually. The bluetooth part does not stay paired with my iphone so I am using it manually only.

    • Perfect for my use..
I used this to set up my kayak for night paddling/fishing. Works like a charm. Lots of configuration and control options, with only I tiny hole. Or, use your phone to control the unit and have no hole at all. Awesome!
