So to start this is a really nice unit though would have preferred better instructions and a sturdier press board for the price. One corner of the top lid is almost broke through, lucky I had some epoxy handy to fix it up. This unit took me 2 hours to put together, but I was also alone and using a hand screwdriver. An electric driver would have been a better bet due to number of screws used for this. Aside from those, the instructions aren't as clear as they could be in certain parts so you have to pay attention to the orientation of the holes in each piece or you could get messed up. As for the finished product it's pretty sturdy and the lid works very well. Unit is rather heavy though on hard wood floors I have to put my foot on the base to lift up the lid or close it. As it wants to slide across the floor. Would be better if it came with grips for the base. ... show more

It took awhile to assemble and you definitely will need a second person for attaching the hardware to the tabletop. The hardware seems a little sketchy, so I think I’ll get replacements. I find it difficult to lift and lower the tabletop because the spring of the hardware is so tight it makes the tabletop almost launch all the way up or down when you’re partway through doing it. The table also slides on the floor from how much effort has to be used to lift the tabletop off. There was also a chip in one of the pieces but it was thankfully the bottom piece of the table so it’d be hidden once built. Overall, it serves its purpose and it’s good quality for the price. If you’ve got a little more money to spend, I would. But if not, this one works too! ... show more

This is a good piece of furniture for the price. It doesn’t look cheap and is a great size. Boyfriend said it wasn’t difficult to assemble. The only things i dislike are how gentle you have to be when opening and closing the top portion and how easily it collects fingerprints and smudge marks. However, it is easy to clean. (I just used a damp paper towel with a drop of dish soap and it came immaculate). Overall, I’m happy with this purchase ☺️ ... show more

Honestly didn’t look at the reviews about how hard the assembly is but damnnnnnn it was a struggle and the instructions are not that great. But once assembled it’s a great table and definitely great value for the price!! I would definitely recommend but make sure you got a team to put it together lol ... show more

I love my new coffee table. My mom got it for me for my birthday. I have been using it about 2 weeks. I lift the top up and down about a dozen times a day. I chose the white and it goes well with the room. The lift brakes are easy to use but if you don't pull up from the center they can twist some and I'm sure you could break it that way if you aren't careful. I would say the over all sturdiness is pretty good but because it's not solid wood it's much lighter but also would be easier to break. The surface is stated as waterproof but in my experience furniture made like this will bubble on the surface with to much moisture so we are using coasters. I was thinking the too would come over my lap more when opened. Because it is a coffee table, not a desk you can't really pull it closer as then you wouldn't have any where to put your feet, so I would keep that in mind when intending to use it as an eating table or desk. I love that it is high enough for my Roomba to go under it. All in all I love it! ... show more

We are pleased with this product overall but not with the instructions, which came with pages out of order stapled together. The last page showing two people holding the top above the bottom made us laugh. Now who screws it together? If you buy this product, prepare to divert from the instructions and get three people for assembly or, as we did, lay it on its side and contort your bodies to insert the final screws. ... show more

Good sized table for the price, not too hard to assemble. Maybe took a little over an hour with two people. Had all the parts and the holes were pre drilled.

I put it togther by myself. Am handy but not professional. It is heavy, so take care with the assembly. Works great. Placed wheels below the legs, so it is easy to move even over carpet. The only thing is the screws are visible from the outside, but easily masked with some white tape.
