The wood is nice, it looks premium in the home. Sturdy, but still easy to move. The rising tabletop mechanism works great and is solid to use as a desk from the couch, supports plenty of weight. The spring is loaded when the table is down and at rest when the table is up, so the tension of the spring is what supports the weight. It is a hassle to build(1-2 hours for me), they have some cool smart screws that only take one turn. But just when you think you're finished, the final step involves 24 screws you have to manually turn all the way into hard wood. Worth it though! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This is the perfect size for my living room! I really like how the top lifts up. Only giving 4 stars because assembly was a pain in the butt, the instructions were helpful but it would’ve been more helpful if it was a little more specific in different parts, but overall they did a good job. My box also came damaged but everything inside was in great condition, I just want Amazon to remind their drivers to respect when a box says “fragile”. The lift top is a little wobbly on the way down, but overall it’s nice. I also really like the storage underneath. It is the perfect spot for my husband and I’s books that we are currently reading. Overall, great product for what you pay! We will see how it holds up over time, but first impression is this is a great coffee table! ... show more

It looks great and it's held up very well, it gets used everyday, from eating, to kids coloring, to being a foot rest and it hasn't shown any wear yet. It was also simple to put together. I’ve only had it a couple of weeks but I have no complaints. Everything works perfectly, the design is elegant and it’s worth every penny. If you do buy this though you’ll need a drill to build it faster.

not the best looking but it works well, and most importantly, the hardware sent with it was not trash. It was pretty simple and straight forward to assemble. I went through a whole ordeal with a similar lift top table that came with incomplete instructions and cheap hardware that stripped out immediately. First, a big piece of it arrived dented. See the photo. Also, this is extremely difficult to put together and the instructions are terrible. They leave out steps and you don’t realize until it’s too late. And the pieces don’t fit together well. I’ve bought several pieces of cheap furniture from Amazon and this is by far the worst instructions and the hardest to put together. ... show more
