Author Jan Matejak provides a look at his traditional layered process of oil painting, with a range of useful techniques demonstrated and discussed. Experienced painters may find some of it very helpful. That said, he is quite dogmatic about his process, and it's painfully evident English is not his first language. This is a great reference book, full of practical guidelines for painting in a classical technique. The author uses simple and direct language for the instructions. Photo references are excellent. I suggest checking his YouTube channel.
