We are very happy with this chair purchased for our small sitting area. We are two average sized women with pets and didn't want to spend a lot on chairs We will probably have to replace sooner than if we were pet free (which is a miserable existence that will never happen for us). We are buying two more and possibly a third later if we find there is enough room. Pros * SMALL. Finally a recliner that is the right size for both of us middle aged women. I'm 5'5" at 145# and she is 5'9" at about 180#. *Easy assembly: screw the hard plastic feet on, line up the clips on either side of the back with the clips on the rear of the chair and slide it down with a little pressure until they both click into place Simple! *Nice appearance: We ordered grey in linen fabric. It looks as expected and the grey is a true neutral grey leaning neither bluish or brownish. The linen is a pretty fine tight weave the cats will take longer to claw up. (Lol!) They might even leave it alone in favor of more appropriate toys. Comfort: Very comfortable. We have both noted that we no longer need a pillow to support our lower backs even when sitting for an extended period. seat bed is firm and supportive but not hard. Back is softer and still supportive. No stupid pillow needed. NOTE: some may not find the leg rest long enough. (We don't mind that our feet hang over a bit as we just want our legs supported when reclining and other recliners give me sore heels after a while incling me to sit improperly in it.) Pets: we ordered a pet cover designed for a small recliner, and it fits perfectly. It's like it was made just for this chair. Cons *size: A person of a wider carriage might not find this chair comfortable Reclining: If you want to lay this chair all the way back to lie down for a nap, you will need to position it off the wall at least a foot. I had a surgery on my left shoulder. I was recommended to sleep in a recliner chair. I didn't have one OR a lot of money to spend on one. My bedroom is NICE, but not spacious. I purchased this chair for the aesthetics, and for the size it LOOKED to be. GLAD I DID! It's VERY comfortable, looks fairly pricey (even though it's NOT) and I am glad I got it. SUPER easy to put together too. NOT too large. Would recommend for a SMALLER adult. I'm slightly UNDER five feet tall and I have a little bit of room left when I'm in it. ... show more

I personally love the chair. It's not to hard and not too soft. I love the cozy fabric and the cream color goes great with my master bedroom. Very pretty! I don't however like how hard it is to recline it. If you want this for an elderly person to recline in, don't purchase this chair. This is a push back as hard as you can to recline chair and I am a well bodied 5'8" lady. I don't know how long it will last since you can tell the fuzzy fabric is super thin and fragile but for the price, it's worth it even if it only last a year. These recliners are amazing. I can’t find anything to complain about. We have zero living space and I don’t want to loose that on some big sofa or sectional. We just want to watch TV together sometimes! These chairs are perfect; they’re slender, small perhaps, and take very little floor space. They’re VERY comfortable and a bit chic. PU Leather material allows for easy cleaning. I like to gently use Mr. Clean magic erasers that work well with just water. If you need to use a gentle soap, try Saddle Soap or a little Dawn liquid. Just be sure to rinse surfaces well with a clean, wet towel, followed by a dry one. Keep it mild;). For reference, I paid 125. each for these chairs on Prime Days in October; the original price was 150. I first shopped IKEA for these chairs, but NADA in my budget. Additionally, I added a small, cotton, cream throw with an oatmeal boucle cotton pillow for each chair. Both practical and great to add some softness to the texture. Color is rich and creamy, EASY to put together (really, you just screw on legs and slide back of chair into base of chairs) no missing parts nor other problems. Padding is moderate to full and very comfy. Great buy all the way around. ... show more

Just arrived today (very fast shipping) and was easy to unbox and assemble. Minimal waste and protected well. Not bad quality for the price and fits me (a medium guy - 5'8" and about 165lbs) very nicely. Larger folks may have an issue with fit, but this is not a "spread-out" chair with all pads and cushions. Reclining - it's a back push/footrest thing, no lever - is smooth but doesn't lock into place for the 2 layout positions. The fabric (I got the gray) seems comfortable so far. Time will tell if the recliner holds up, but it seems like a good deal on what I need. UPDATE - It's been about a week of use and would like to share what my assessment is so far. Not happy that the chair won't stay locked in a reclined position. You move, you lose your recline position (starts tipping forward). Other than that, it's firm, the fabric is of decent quality, and should last for a while. But the fact that you can't set it into a reclined position for long is disappointing. Keeping it to use in another room where reclining isn't that important. Dropped from 4 to 3 stars because of that. ... show more
