* First off, Yaheetech was absolutely amazing sending out not one, but two replacement parts within a week and I greatly appreciate the effort they made. This drafting table was the perfect compact glass top table I have been looking for. Primarily because of it's compact size that can fit between my two other desks; Although, I did have to inevitably remove the tray to fit it in there. It's sturdy with a mat black finish, and I had no trouble assembling it once I had all the pieces. The actuating arm seems to bear the weight when I lean down on it. The stool included holds my weight at 210 lbs, and it's comfortable enough. The few things I would have liked to see while constructing the desk is as follows: Better retaining pin system for the trays. Move the actuating arm up onto of the slide railing so I can move the little desk portion all the way in. Finally, the guide rail on the front of the desk is slightly flimsy due to only being attached by two screws. With one more screw to tie the guide rail in it would be solid. I am quite happy with the desk and the level of support Yaheetech provided. ... show more

This is an amazing drafting table. Really good size too and has plenty of storage. The glass is good for easy cleaning and good for tracing if you stick what you want to trace underneath. The pull out table is awesome too. It was a bit too long for me so I just took that piece homedepot, they cut it and I painted the end black. Great table definitely worth the buy and can be put together by one person just need to take your time. ... show more

    • Nice drafting table for the money
I bought this because I wanted a new workspace to build my model cars. I wanted a couple of small drawers to store tools, glass top so it cleaned east and adjustable height. This table has all of that. The instructions are OK. If you’re not used to assembling things, you might have trouble. They give you an Allen key but you’ll need a Phillips screwdriver with is not provided. I was lucky, all the parts were there, nothing missing or broken. I did have to widen one of the holes for the drawer slides, otherwise, everything fit fine. It was easy to level out and raising the top to the desired height takes some practice, but it’s fairly easy. Now for the cons. The stool is useless. The legs were lopsided so it rocks. I don’t plan to use it as I already have a comfy chair, so no big deal. My main concern is the center support for the glass top. I had it tilted up about half way while I was assembling the stool with the instruction booklet resting on it and without warning, it came crashing down. I didn’t bump into it, the stop was resting in the groove, but I guess the weight of the glass is too much for it. Keep this in mind if you plan on leaving the top tilted. There is no adjustment to the lever either to make it tighter or adjust tension. I expected a piano type hinge or something of that type that is adjustable. This hinge is, for the lack of a better word, cheap. Again, like the stool, I don’t plan on using the tilt feature as I need the top to lay flat. But for those of you needing that feature, think about upgrading that hinge. ... show more

This table is great quality, solid structure, and has simple yet effective storage options. We did not have any issues with missing parts as other reviewers did and were able to assemble it easily. The glass top is large and solid and the tilt option is extremely easy to use. The glass also allows for easy cleaning and art tape removes easily. The table on the left side slides out for larger table surface. There’s two mesh baskets underneath for storage and a shelf with a lip for more storage options below. I connected a clip-on lamp for extra light as well. The table itself is fully adjustable for your height needs. The stool is basic but solid and comfortable for short projects but I may invest in a more comfortable option in the future. In all I am very happy with the table and look forward to using it. To begin with, it took me around two hours to set up the product on my own, but I had no trouble following the instructions. Secondly, I found the product to be quite sturdy and well-made. The glass is thick and has a professional look with a smoked aesthetic finish. Thirdly, the only issue I faced was with the stool. The screws weren't able to screw entirely through, but it still held weight and the issue was not significant. Lastly, the product is wide, and I had no problem raising the glass when needed. It did take a little longer than expected to set up but only because I mixed up some of the bolts because they can be confusing but the instructions make it clear which ones are which so just read the instructions. Other than that, the desk is strong, smooth, neat, and better than I expected in terms of display. I am glad I bought this and highly recommend it for anyone with a need for an art desk in a studio/1-bedroom apartment or for a guest bedroom. ... show more

I can’t speak highly enough about this drafting table. I am a VERY beginning artist and this has been absolutely perfect for me. Plenty of workspace. The glass top makes it very easy to clean up any paint splatter. I was also able to place an LED light under the glass to use for tracing (again…beginner here). The sliding shelf is great for my laptop (or sushi) to watch tutorials or for reference pictures. The basket drawers give you lots of storage (I do wish they had some kind of handle, because it’s a bit rough to get them open and closed without one…I will likely add this myself soon). I added some other personal touches, with a paper towel holder attached under the sliding shelf, and a Command hook to hang my heat gun. The stool is comfortable for me (I’m 5’4”), but will likely invest in something adjustable with a back. But for the money, definitely cannot complain. As for assembly, this is a two-person job. There was just one hiccup where a screw hole wasn’t quite right, but we finessed it to work. Definitely recommend! ... show more
