these are perfect for sitting at a bar - the seat is not very deep so not great for sitting in without having a bar to lean on. The style is nice. the height adjustment is great - there is a lot of adjustment in them. They seem very sturdy to sit in and are well made. Easy to assemble. Was very pleasantly surprised at how well it was packed, nothing was scratched or dented. Easy to build, I finished both in maybe 10 minutes? Chair itself after it was built was really nice quality. You get what you pay for. Base is not wide enough so it is not very sturdy. Im only 135lbs and it feels a little sketchy to sit on them at bar height.
