Built well, sturdy; rod does not bend easily, heats up quickly, have used similar type heated handheld cutters in the past and this is by far the best. Well worth the money.

This does not get nearly hot enough. I tried with both and I had to go super slow. I needed this for a client project and don't have the time to return it and wait for another one. Very disappointed.
