I bought a Yaber jump-starter about a year ago for my new hybrid because apparently the undersized 12 volt batteries in hybrids go dead quickly (they don't have traditional starters that pull a lot of juice so the 12 volt batteries don't need to be big), but I've only used it a few times to jump my pick-up which doesn't get driven much anymore... so I decided to get another Yaber jump-starter for my girlfriend for her birthday a couple weeks ago, and since my Tacoma's battery was dead, I used her new one when it arrived to start it up and let it idle to charge the battery... like my previous Yaber, the new jump-starter had no trouble starting my Tacoma right up - and since it had a 93% charge right out of the box, I didn't even have to charge it first... most of these jump starters tell you to charge it up every 2-3 months, but apparently this one will hold its charge for up to 2 years - if you're apt to just toss it in your trunk and forget about it... but remember - you don't want to totally discharge any battery because that will shorten its life... it comes with everything you need - a USB C charging cable, heavy duty battery clamps, USB A outlets to charge two phones, a 12 volt cigarette lighter adaptor and a sturdy hard case to keep everything in... it has a really bright 450 lumen flashlight with a flashing white or red strobe light for emergencies, a force start button for jumping totally dead batteries - and an easy to read and understand manual... it has numerous built-in protections including reverse polarity protection for those who are not mechanically inclined, and the display screen has all the info laid out so you can read it in the dark... and it comes with a TWO YEAR WARRANTY, when most things only have a one year warranty... now I no longer have to worry about my girlfriend coming out to a dead battery in a dark parking lot after she gets off work - and calling me to come rescue her... ... show more

Since I have good experience with that one to pump my car's tires, bicycles and basketball, I trust this brand, therefore I bought this one for another car. The car's battery is over five years old, just in case I need it, especially with the cold weather coming. Amazon shipping is very fast, I got it in two days. The product with a durable carry case can be easy to put in the trunk of the car. It is pre_chaged about 94%, I charged it to 100% for about 20 minutes. Comes with thick wired jumper cables and a USB-C charging cable, USB-C cable is easy to use because you don't need to worry about the direction. It also has a cigarette light adapter that can output 12VDC just like the cigarette light output on the car, it is good for connecting my car tire pump. This one is dedicated to a jump starter, so there is no pump. But it is a good thing because it is too easy to use. You just insert the jumper cable into the starter, clamp it to the battery, and start the car. that's it. No other button needs to be pushed. No need to check the manual in difficult situations. The 4000A peak power is good enough for any car. The larger display lighted LED screen is easy to read when the day gets dark. I have no chance to jump-start the car yet, but I used it to pump tires. It is pretty easy. I connected it to my pump and used it to pump tires.it is very fast to fill the tire. you don't need to move wires when you pump different tires like using cigarette light output on the car. Even though I do not have to jump cars, I believe it will get the job done very well.
