I like the little guy. He’s faded quite a bit in the couple months I love had him. Also he tends to collect water in his body and sink so you have to spend time squeezing the water out of him. All in all not a bad purchase though.

There is a small hold in one of the ears, that allows water in. Very thick plastic so it makes it difficult to get the water out. Water in the character can create mold. Same concept as a rubber ducky bath toy. They all mold eventually. Also, the octopus would not float straight up and down. He would tilt slightly. Not sure if that was because of the water in the plastic top, because I kept chlorine tabs in the bottom area. Hank is quite possibly the cutest octopus ever, but we couldn't keep him due to these factors. ... show more

It is super cute, however when you put the chlorine tabs in it, the thing barely floats. The color faded within a couple of weeks.

We named the octopus HANK and he has been in my pool for over a month now, working like a charm, helping my pool get it's chlorine.
