I landed on this camera because of the price point and the premium features. My main use is shooting videos of family gatherings, babies moving around, bike trips etc. The camera did well and the 4K looks real - at least comparable in quality from my pixel phone 4K camera. The camera is incredibly portable, small and easy to carry around, solid build, it feels indestructible. Planning to update it's use underwater and will update the review when I manage to test the camera there. Will also update on its longevity and if it keeps up over time over multiple uses. With first try I had SD card issues with the display saying SD card was not installed but reached out to XTU support and given instructions to format on my laptop first, I have had no issues after. I was looking for an affordable water proof sport cam I could take pool pictures with the kids but feel I got more. This came really well packaged with really generous accessories to mount in any way I can think of. The build quality of the water proof case and camera is good and the firmware is intuitive. I bought for my son who is a firefighter so he could film his practice and drills!! I like that it had so many attachments and the images are nice and clear!! Little smaller then the other he has which is nice. For the price it's a good product!!

The media could not be loaded. If you have a small budget for purchasing an action camera, the XTU S6 is a good buy. It sets itself apart from other budget cameras by recording in true 4K and not an upscaled video format from a CMOS sensor intended for a dashcam. It comes with a lot of accessories including a 64GB SD card. Video & image stabilization is good. It only comes with one battery and the microphone is susceptible to wind noise. The Sony IMX386 CMOS sensor is dated but still gets the job done. If you're in need of a budget action camera, don't overlook the XTU S6. ... show more
