What I really like about the D9Pro is its special functions, Its ability to do bi-directional features and its larger 9.7-inch touch screen. So far since I had the D9Pro I had no problem diagnosing cars. What is important to know is that the D9Pro has the ability to read and scan most modules and it tells you which pids are current. Bought this for my son which is a mechanic in the army and will be exiting the military soon after 8 plus years and pursuing a career in automotive repair and the first day he gotten this unit he programmed a key for a new car which the dealer wanted $800 and he did for $28 buy ordering a blank key on amazon and programming it this unit is going to be a great tool for him in his career ... show more

I use this tool daily and the shop has the snap-on deus. This tool is faster and about 99% as capable as the deus. So far the only thing it cant do is clear adaptives on a Nissan CVT module. The Deus can do that. I work on used cars for a dealership and we do at least one a week lately so I do wish they would add that feature. But the deus costs Six grand or so... So yeah I'm super impressed with this tool. I can't say enough about the topographic layout. I was a Chrysler tech and that's how witech is layed out. this scanner does not have proxi alignment and it took days to get that confirmed by the company. when programming keys it will not work correctly 99% of the time. i have 3 keys for one car that i can not use buttons it will only start the car and then give a check engine light for faulty key. the company was only going to offer one more year of updates if i kept the scanner. most of my vehicles i need to have proxi alignment programs otherwise it is useless to me and i told the company that, yet the only offer one extra year of updates. dont waste your time with this and just go with an autel MK906S Pro-TS or better ... show more

    • Screen isn't bright enough to use outside in indirect sunlight. BUT works great.
As far as function it worked well. I was able in short order to diagnose a transmission issue in a Chrysler T&C that wasn't popping codes with the live data display. I also verified an issue that I suspected on my 2001 Silverado ABS system. One big surprise was that the unit showed me was that the odometer display was NOT the true mileage of the vehicle, (was off by 10K). I look forward to years of use from this unit. ... show more

Really happy with x tool they replied to me in 4days and answered my question I had and went above and beyond and very impressed with them even when I was wrong about my 2017 Camry hybrid not having a transmission temp sensor I thought it did they were able to show me that it does not they did not have to do that I was just curious if it did this thing is amazing I have taxi fleet and always working on my cabs I’m diy and this thing already paid it self off was able to diagnose issue and fix it and also help me on hybrid inverter coolant bleed brakes and it’s fast ... show more
