The XS XSPAK Fiberglass Pickleball Paddle is a very nice quality, reasonably priced paddle AND zippered neoprene coverfor the beginner player. The overall construction and finish quality of the 2 XS XSPAK paddles I ordered were flawless. The handle diameter size is medium to medium- making it reasonable for most players. The grip wrap is soft and comfortable. The zippered neoprene cover is well made and the neoprene is thicker than I've seen on other covers selling at $10-$15 by themselves. The overall weight, balance, and performance of this paddle is very good (for a beginner paddle) and comparable to other paddles I've tested of similar construction and price. This classic-shaped fiberglass faced paddle has a moderate forgiving sweet spot and loads of power. The smooth face is 10.5 mm thick and produces very loud ball noise. The paddle's other dimensions are all very traditional. At 7.98 oz. the 15 1/2" by 8 1/4" wide body has a 4 1/2" long handle. The grip is exactly what I prefer: smooth, soft, sticky and 4 1/4" around. The light gray edge guard and throwback leather-look grip make it stand out in a paddle stack. It comes with a nice (if snug) neoprene cover. During play it has great power from the back court and can direct the ball well. I wasn't able to get much spin on the ball, and it isn't as good for dinking as modern thick-core paddles, but the sweet spot has a pretty forgiving performance taper toward the edge, so any slightly mis-hit balls won't jump straight into the net. This paddle may work for you if you are used to older, thin, stiff paddles, and your neighborhood isn't already up in arms about the noise. (This is the noisiest paddle I have ever tested.) This paddle is OK for beginners, due to its forgiving nature, but for a similar price (when bought as a pair) the WETOOL WT-02 is a better modern-style paddle. Sadly, this paddle is NOT USAPA Approved, which means that you can't use it in sanctioned tournaments. You can easily check on the USAPA website. Listed as "X SPAK" on that website, this company does make a number of approved paddles, but this isn't one of them. ... show more

Current price under $10ea paddle is great for a generic, bland and boring paddle, but THESE are NOT any of that EXCEPT being under $10 on this crazy good deal! They are a gorgeous paddle (especially for entry level pricing!) that make a prudent choice for players getting into the great game of pickleball--LOVE 'EM! ... show more

Super stylin splashy retro pattern/ design, exactly as shown, the feel is joyfull & energizing / excites a new time pickleball player to just go have some fun versus embarking on a *serious endeavor* of starting a new sport ;p Upon opening I was surprised the grip, zipper bag, were seeming about the same quality as some paddles that lean a bit more toward the intermediate to professional end ~ While you may not perform trick spins or have the same type of control from a technical point of view pertaining to the paddle face/ finish, it's a great value for those wanting to just give the activity of pickle-ball a ho, and with a nice quality case & ( I really love the warm honey brown) grip that should last you quite a lot of games =) Also comes in a box, which is always appreciated as far as gifting. ... show more

I got this paddle for my mom since she loves red and yellow.But this is definitely a more hot pink color in person. The paddle itself is nice and a good beginners paddle. It does come with its own case for storage so it is protected if you toss it in your bag. But for $30 I'd say it may be a little over priced for the quality that it is. ... show more

The Xspack Pickleball paddle was a present for my mom and it’s very cute and looks exactly like it says in the photo. I am not an expert at pickle ball, so I did not know if it was a good quality paddle or not, but she said that she had not used one of the fiberglass before, and was excited to try it. The white cover that it comes with is pretty, and zipper works and is soft. The pattern on the paddle itself is very attractive and the handle grip is soft and plush. Basically, this came exactly as it was advertised. Although my parents play with very expensive paddles, my mom was happy to have this as a back up to play with maybe a friend that is a beginner or has ideas to even play with her grandkids. ... show more
