  • 2nd Update after 1-1/2 years
Color: RGB
Edit 4/20-2020 do not put the control box under the hood of your Jeep near the battery. The heat will kill it and this was the problem in the below review. I have since relocated the control box for my halo and everything is fine and it is working perfectly. So my control box that goes under the hood has gone out twice, once it was warranty and they sent another one. Now I’m stuck with halos that when set to a color, it goes to amber then out then back to the set color. They’ve been a great headlight but the control box keeps going out. I have had these on for a few months now, waiting to review them so I could actually have an opinion. I absolutely love them! They were easy to install and they work great. They are very bright and people flash me a lot because they are so bright, but that’s really the only bad thing about them. The instructions aren’t very clear, and that sucks, I was guessing at some wiring because the instructions were not good but the product itself is awesome. Now having said that about the end results, one headlight was defective out of the box and after all the installation I had to wait on replacement to come in because one of them didn’t work. It was only a wire connection was not crimped completely in the harness, but I was able to get the replacement shipped right away and they were very easy to deal with. The app that is used to change colors on the halo is decent and I haven’t had any issues with it connecting to my phone at all. Overall they seem to be very well made and good product, so I gave this a good rating. Some ppl may not have because of the inconvenience of a defective part but everybody has issues when manufacturing and I was probably 1 of 1000 (at least I hope) ... show more

  • Check your wiring for correct connection.
Color: Green
Nice fit with a little trimming, which is better than to loose. Bright vivid color (Green). Headlights are amazing compared to OEM. Honestly there's no comparison. Way cheaper than other aftermarket lights, and just as good if not better!! Have bought several set now for my other vehicles.

  • Great kit, install was easy
Color: RGB
Bought the kit for my 2015 jeep wrangler. Install was straightforward and only required simple tools. I would say if you have any automotive electrical experience it was a 2 out of 10 degree of difficulty. With none I would still say it's about a 4 out of 10. Only "gotcha" will be splicing the lights to the blinkers I would use positaps rather than the included crimp style ones. Just personal preference. Also be aware that late model jeeps have an acc fuse that can be set to always on or only on when engine is on (which is needed for the halo's.) It's just a simple fuse move of a half a space. ... show more

  • Best you can get on a budget
Color: White
I've had the white halo ones in my JK for 1 year 8 months now, didn't bother with the RGB ones since I wanted red and that is illegal on the front of a vehicle. Also, most of the problems people report with these is failures due to overheating of the RGB control box, take that box out of the picture and this is a semi-rock solid product. Installation was easy if you know basic electrical theory, didn't even require instructions. The only problems I've had was the LED canbus has failed twice due to overheating, both times it has caused the headlight to shut off. A new canbus fixed the issue but having your headlights shut off can be dangerous. There really isn't much that xprite can do about that, if you overheat an electrical circuit it will cause a change in resistance and cause the circuit to fail over time, this was due to the poor design of the 3.6L engine in the JK because some idiot engineer thought it would be a good idea to put two catalytic converters INSIDE the engine bay. I did however find a fix for this, if you take off your grill and zip tie the canbus to the frame on the front side of the radiator it opens it up to cool air from outside the vehicle and prevents it from taking the 300+ degree temps inside the engine bay. I also had one failure due to the electrical wire on the canbus chafing from a year of vibrations against other items in the bay. Easy to fix if you correctly secure the wires instead of being lazy and just dropping them behind the light. Overall these headlights have worked very well, I love the halos and turn signals and they are plenty bright enough to handle off roading at night with no ambient light and drown out the other @$$ holes on the road with super bright lights or that just run high beams all the time. ... show more
