The sauna comes delivered in 3 boxes. My husband and I were easily able to move each piece to our backyard and lay everything out prior to assembly. Putting it together took us less than an hour, as it was not complicated (tongue and groove alignment). Even getting the roof on was not that much of a challenge, which considering my size (4'11", 90lbs) is an indicator that this is not that heavy or awkward and can be done with two able bodied people. The build quality is great and the only small issue we had was that initially the Bluetooth speakers would not connect, as in we could not figure how to locate them. However, we switched from an Android phone to Iphone, found it and suddenly it was working. The lights can be set to cycle through all of the colors or to stay one one of the selected. There is also the option of running the interior light with the colored lights or solo. As for the temperature, it definitely takes longer than 10 minutes to get up to a hot temperature but I find that within 15 minutes it is near 35ºC and within 30 minutes it is over 50ºC. I have had been able to get it up to 60-64º with air temps in the high single digits (2-4º Celsius, or 35-40ºF. It stays on for a total duration of 60 minutes and then if you want longer you can add more time/reset. It does not cool down that quickly, which is nice because sometimes my husband and I cannot coordinate schedules perfectly, he will use it, then do a cold plunge and I will come out after he has turned it off to do the same and it is still warm. I chose to purchase the backrests, as well as the padded cushions for the benches - I recommend this if you have a bony frame and not a lot of padding to protect you from hard surfaces. One thing to note, this is marketed as a 4 person sauna but it really only fits 4 people if you sit upright, knees bent, feet flat on the floor facing forward. If you want any amount of relaxing, keep it to two people. For reference, my husband if 5'10" and I am 4'11" and if we each take a side, we are comfortable. Only add people if you are really not bothered by sitting right next to someone. We set it up on November 4th and have been using it almost every day, either before or after a cold plunge. This is my first time using an Infrared sauna, my only prior experience with a sauna was in a traditional sauna in Iceland. Infrared does not get as hot in terms of absolute temperature but it does have the same effects for me. I don't mind heat and it takes me a while to start sweating, which was my same experience in a traditional sauna. My husband sweats easily, and he will be sweating within 15-20 minutes in there. I live in New Hampshire where winter temperatures will get below freezing (as in 0º/32ºF) for most nights and many days, so I am excited to see how this fares over the course of the winter. I got the sauna almost a year ago, and, except for the super hot summers in Texas, I use it almost every single day. No joke. My colored lights went out a month ago, I contacted the company and they sent me new replacement, lights immediately, no charge. Super customer service. The unit is easy to put together, no hardware, extremely sound, and well-made. If you’re looking for an infrared sauna, I would highly recommend this one. Works well, easy to assembly for 2 people. Just need a ladder and screwdriver. I think it is of pretty good value. I'd like to know though, if I can varnish the outside of it, to help keep it waterproof and for it to not to look unfinished.

This was very easy for my husband and myself to assemble in an afternoon. It heats up quickly, the speaker are good as well as the lighting. We are having a dedicated electric outlet and line run for it as it pulls a lot of power and we don’t want to trip breakers. It also looks great in the small courtyard outside of our master bathroom. This took less than an hour to put together with two men and me cleaning up the packaging materials. Heats up fast. Two people can lay back and enjoy a session listening to music on Bluetooth speakers. The light options are great for healing and creating a mood. Best money spent.
