This is great. <3 It blocks out the light completely, and it doesn't put any pressure on my nose - not even the part of my nose closest to my forehead - due to having a tall nose slot (which was the reason I picked this one in particular). The other ones I've tried have let in varying amounts of light at the nose area while also pressing on my nose and making breathing less comfortable, so I'm really really *really* happy about this one erasing both of those problems. :) It has some extra fabric on the ... face-facing (lol?) side by the nose to keep out the light that would otherwise come in there. The outward facing part is soft and fuzzy and nice to rub your fingers and palms across (even while wearing it :D). The part against your face is a smooth fabric that's probably easier to clean than fuzzy fabric, but it's still really soft and comfortable. I don't have to tighten the band so much that I have an uncomfortable sense of pressure around my head. The band does go over the top part of my ears (it sits a bit too low on my head to tuck it behind them), but even that doesn't really bother me much, and usually I can't tolerate having things like that covering my ears. I just checked and the band has a nice smooth texture that probably helps with that a lot. It's comfortable when I'm lying on my side. It's still relatively comfortable when I'm lying on my stomach with half my face pressed into my pillow, although I can feel it lightly touching my eyelid that's pressed against my pillow, when I'm like that. Sometimes when I first put it on, I need to adjust its position a bit so I don't keep feeling the tips of my eyelashes brush against it if I blink. (Blink: So far, I've only used it for taking a sensory break when any light at all is too much. And with it blocking out 100% of the light, I don't need to close my eyes to have darkness, so sometimes I keep them open.) I want to get at least one more of these so I have a backup. <3 Random other thing: It comes with some earplugs and a fuzzy drawstring bag. The bag is smaller than the mask, though, so I don't want to put it in there because I'd rather not fold it in half and end up with a crease on it. I'll probably put it back into the zippered pouch it came in if I'm going to bring it with me somewhere, and use the bag for other things (it's a nice fuzzy bag <3). ... show more

It definitely blocks the light, it's a big sleep mask & well padded all around the perimeter. It seems strange to me that the soft fabric is on the outside, but the padded side isn't uncomfortable. The padded side does get hot though, and doesn't breathe very well, so if you're having a hot flash you're going to have to remove it (trust me: don't be a hero). The elastic is very wide and adjustable, which has benefits & drawbacks. Adjustable is always good!! And you can't feel any lumps where the slider is, it's still relatively comfortable. And I can fully understand why the elastic is so wide, after my last two thin-elastic eye masks stretched out so much that they no longer stay on my head. Unfortunately, it's so wide that it bothers my ears. Maybe I have a funny head shape, but it wants to slide up the back of my head & pop off while I'm sleeping (terrific for my hairdo, let me tell ya), no matter how I adjust the tightness. With my old masks, I was able to loop the elastic over my ears & then under the nape of my neck, so it was kind of anchored under my hair & couldn't slide up. But, this elastic is too wide to do that, even when adjusted to the right length it bothers my ears too much. So, it's not my favorite eye mask of all time, but I'm going to keep using it because it's still extremely effective. And it comes in a nice re-zippable light plastic bag/case, and includes earplugs, when you open the package it feels like this company really cares about you getting a good night's sleep! ... show more

The XKZPS 3D sleep mask fits well after adjusting the strap. In addition, the fabric feels comfortable and super soft just like memory foam. The nose flap and eye contours also feel comfy around the eyes. 😴 The fabric is not too heavy, but not as lightweight as I would prefer. Of course, maybe that’s the downside of a mask that blocks out 100 percent light. 😴 Earplugs, as well as a convenient storage bag with drawstring, are included with the mask. When traveling, the bag is ideal, because it not only protects the mask, but makes it easy to organize in the suitcase. 😴 The mask is also made well and appears durable and is sewn with excellent stitches and no evidence of loose threads and/or no unraveling seams. 😴 Overall, everything considered, the mask is a good value for the price, and I recommend it. ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ... show more

This unisex sleep mask is generously sized and thoughtfully constructed! The adjustable elastic band is comfortable and secure, and the mask truly blocks out 100% of all ambient light in my surrounding environment. Due to the raised foam features along the backside, no pressure is placed directly on my eyes and I can even fully blink while wearing it. As a migraine sufferer, I wholeheartedly appreciate that aspect of the design, and the slick strip of material that rests on the bridge of my nose keeps my face cool and adequately ventilated. The mask itself is incredibly plush and soft, and it even comes with a complimentary black velvet drawstring storage pouch! I love everything about the fit and feel of this product.
