I was doubtful about these being easy to use. But it was a piece of cake installing them. They worked on the very first try. They could be a bit shorter, but I just wound it around the mirror base a few times and it is not hanging out where it could get pulled lose easily.     • Much cheaper than name brand mirror tap, worked on Tesla Cybertruck
A YouTube video on installing radar in a Cybertruck said you "needed" a certain brand of mirror tap at $46.99 because they include 4 sizes of wires and you need the thinnest possible. Well given the price difference, thought I would gamble with this one for about 1/3rd the price... yeah the thinnest wire was tight but I was able to make it work. Ok so it doesn't have the built-in fuse like the name brand but I don't think that's really necessary. If your car fries, your radar detector is least of the problems. ... show more
