Ive had some water backup problems from my backyard to my front for the last 3-4 years. I tried pushing the hose through it and it sorta helped but with heavy rains there was almost 6" of pooled water at my lowest spot in the yard, not ideal! I did some research and decided I needed something like this. I was hesitant but after one more heavy rain and pooling I went for it. Works great with my 2100psi Ryobi Electric pressure washer, cleaned out the drains on both sides within 20 minutes and now the water flows from back to front with no pooling!! Inside basement waterproofing footer tiles under my floor were clogged, causing water to percolate up through the wall to floor seams. Bought this and used it in the pipe before contracting a waterproofer to dig up and replace the lines in the floor. This thing worked great! I used my electric pressure washer, and ran this through the pipes using the clean out, from sump pump crock all the way around the tile. Found the build ups in the lines and this had plenty of power to blast through and free up the drainage perforation holes in the pvc. I called a pro, they quoted me $700 to jet the pipes. And the waterproofer said it was $5000 to blow out the floor and replace. This just saved me a ton of money! The only drawback is not on the product, rather now I have to jet my lines every 6 months to keep them clean, but now I have my jet to take care of business!! Thanks to the manufacturer … hose never linked and the button head was powerful. The “sidewall” head didn’t really do much, but maybe mine needs adjusted? I’ll try an Allen on the head if it and see if I can open the head a smidge for better spray. The quick disconnect worked perfectly, no leaks on the gun tip to hose connection. I didn’t use the screw on fitting as I want to have the trigger control indoors. Outdoors this spring I’ll use the screw on fitting, so time will tell if it’s quality or not. Hope this helps! I would definitely buy this again … very good product! If you’re looking to save money on the pros, get your pressure washer out and play in the water a little … this will definitely help your wallet!!! ... show more

If you have a power washer this option easily converts it to a DIY sewer better. I really love the rotating nozzle that sprays forward, backwards, and spins to ensure the pipe is clean. This will save you money as compared to hiring a plumber to jet your pipes. It doesn’t fully replace a plumber but it provides an immediate solution for those more budget conscious individuals. ... show more

Used to clean underground rain drains so far and did the job fairly well. A few considerations: 1. Get the 100 ft. -you'll be glad to see it reach the other side of a longer drain/pipe 2. Easy to attach to normal pressure washer - kit comes with all tools needed - this was a great thing! 3. Well built - good quality hose no cracks, leaks or kinks 4. Nozzles seem good quality also and a good mix for "normal" user - professionals might need more 5. Be patient and work it back and forth when hitting a clogged spot -it can take 10 -15 minutes on stubborn build-ups 6. Use bullet nozzle(s) to penetrate then switch to rotary for a more thorough clean 7. Helps to uncoil the estimated cleaning length before starting the job - you'll find out mid-way why :) Overall a good experience and also a good deal money wise. ... show more

Attempted to use this on a 1950s basement floor drain that collects from laundry room sink and kitchen sink. At first it was a struggle just to get the head into the first bend at the bottom of the floor drain (2" cast iron probably 10" vertical drop before the tee), and then it got fully blocked at only 2ft from the floor surface. It felt like a hard stop, not mushy waste matter. Used my 25ft music wire snake and it blew right past this mystery obstacle. Tried the jetter again after pulling the snake out and had the same issues, so I never even got to try the pressure function. The black hose gets very slippery when wet so it is almost impossible to twist around obstacles. I'm attaching a pic of the head to help anyone who is concerned about getting around a corner: there are 3" (76mm) at the head which are not flexible at all. ... show more

Last week there was a clog in my ADU and I paid $300 for a plumber to jet clean the pipe. Doesn't seem too difficult for a home owner to DIY therefore I decided to give it a try myself. Initially I'm a little concerned if 1/4 pipe is too small but the water stream coming out from the 0.4mm nozzle seems enough to clean a toilet drain. The plumber has a 5000psi pressure washer and mine is only 2000psi. I used hot water and managed to snake in about 40~50ft hose. Can't say for sure but I guess the pipe is cleaner for now. ... show more

I was trying to unblock a drain line inside the building from a clean-out setting vertically in a wall. It was a grease plug and the drain snake did nothing. I needed all 100 feet of hose to reach the pipe and still keep my pressure washer outside since it was gas powered. I had all the fittings and wrenches I needed to set it all up. Less than 10 minutes I had the pipe cleaned out and running free again. It took longer to set it all up and get an extra guy to operate the pressure washer while I jetted the drain.
