This is a nice rake - and surely is smaller than a standard one - but is in NO WAY A TOY! It is a REAL RAKE, It is metal, and very dangerous. It is heavy and has spikes, like a real rake does. It is definitely smaller than a standard one - so maybe for a younger or shorter person, even a petite person, or a woman like me (5'0" tall). So this is a real rake that older kids can use to "help" with gardening. It digs really well. Please consider that is is not a toy, is metal so not for small kids that can hurt themselves or others.

    • Great tools for toddlers!
Item Shape: Broom
This mini broom stick is excellent for my little one who always want to help me sweep around the house but can't hold a full size broom properly. The broom stick is divided into two parts which is held together by a plastic connector in the middle that each stick screws into. The stick is also made of solid wood but it is very lightweight and it's easy to my kid to move around. The bristles are surprisingly thick and sturdy and they don't bend as easily as a full size standard broom's bristles do. The bristles on this broom compare to those on a scrubbing brush which are thick, dense, and somewhat stiff. Now since they are stiff it does make it hard for him to sweep things up off of the floor and into a dustpan since it tends to leave dirt behind on the floor but it's not a major deal since it's intended to be used for learning purposes and not actual cleaning. The biggest plus side to the bristles on the broom being dense and stiff is that they will probably take a long time to break down and bend so I would say that they aid in boosting the quality of this broom. I ended up buying my kiddo his own dustpan from a local dollar store to use with this broom but it would be nice if these came as a set! Regardless it's still a nice kids broom that I would definitely order again if I could. I highly recommend getting one of these for your little one! ... show more
