  • It sticks.
This tape is a bit hard to use but it does work. I wish it came in smaller amounts since I suspect I will never use more than the 10 inches I have already used. Having it as a peel and stick product would be easier to use but would probably be cost prohibitive. Overall I'm happy with the product.

  • It’s not sticky
RV awning that had a tear at the seam. I sewed it and wanted to reinforce with the tape but the tape lifted away from the material within a few days and the awning wasn’t extended out.

  • Hope it hold up.
Needed to repair some tears in my RV awning thought I'd give this brand a try. This came with NO instructions or guidelines on how to best apply. Checked manufacture's web site, nothing there either! You'd figure they would have something to help you use their product. I cleaned the area good with soap and water. Let dry a day then cleaned area with rubbing alcohol and wiped dry really good then applied tape. Holding so far but haven't been to the camper in 3 weeks. It may be all peeled off by now. Time will tell if it holds up so can't give better rating for weatherproof-ness. Adhesion seemed to be good but again time will tell if it holds. ... show more

  • It is invisible after application. No shiny glare. It adhers tightly when pulled to the side.
The perfect repair tape for my trailer awning.

  • VERY STRONG BUT PROBLEM STICKING
NO DOUBT THIS IS THE STRONGEST TAPE I HAVE USED. I HAVE A SMALL VINYL CANOPY WITH A TEAR AND HAD MY NEIGHBOR TAPE IT. NEXT DAY IT RAINED (POURED) FOR 24 HOURS AND THE TAPE CAME PARTIALLY LOOSE. TO BE FAIR, THE PART THAT CAME LOOSE WAS OVER SOME DUCT TAPE. WE ATTACHED TO THE VINYL AND PULLED ACROSS A SECTION OF DUCT TAPE AND PAST THAT BACK TO THE VINYL AGAIN. ANYWAY, ONE SIDE ATTACHED TO ABOUT 9" OF VINYL DID HOLD ON. WILL REMOVE ALL OTHER TAPE NEXT TIME. ... show more

  • This is NOT Ripstop Tape!
The description and title for this product is misleading. This is not ripstop tape. It may stop a rip from getting worse but should not be called ripstop. This is simply a vinyl tape. Ripstop has interwoven reinforcement threads in a crosshatch pattern. This is done so that in case there is a puncture it will be stopped by the crosshatch threads. See the photo. I was disappointed to learn that I had just bought a roll of vinyl tape with no ripstop reinforcement. The title needs to be changed and words in the description as well. ... show more
