  • 25 year Wacom user - Bluetooth is FLAWLESS
Size: Bundle SE
I’ve use Wacom tablets exclusively for about 25 years and I cannot say enough good things about this tablet. I’ve been using it for about two weeks and I have zero issues. I was never able to use Bluetooth feature in Wacom tablets because the lag was so great. With this tablet it’s literally flawless. And I know this is a small thing, but I absolutely love that I can get this in white - I’ve been waiting a very long time to have a tablet. That looks good on my desk. Wacom apparently could care less about form and function hahha IM SO HAPPY! I love this tablet. And it’s really easy for me to not like change / getting used TJ something new - but this product is so much better than Wacom. Thank you!!! ... show more

  • Watch out, Wacom!
Size: Bundle
Pros: - Works exactly as you'd expect. Zero issues out of the box. - Good quality materials. It feels very sturdy. - Software isn't a mess! It was very easy to set up and use, and it works with their other tablets. - Thorough testing shows that they are selling exactly what they advertise, something that isn't always the case when it comes to some competitor listings (pressure sensitivity, jitter, etc) - Wireless. This is fantastic, any opportunity to remove a wire is worth it! Cons: - Price. Yeah, it's expensive. Still worth it considering competitor prices, but I can't help but think that they're marked up a bit. - Not for beginners. Ease yourself in if you are just starting out. Remember, the tool doesn't make the art, the artist does. Any pro can make fantastic work happen with barebones, low end tools. This is a tablet you want to start looking at if your art is beginning to bring in some real income, not as a first or second starter tablet. Overall: My experience with this one was great! Got exactly what I expected, nothing more nothing less. I'd recommend this to any intermediate to advanced artist who is looking for a tablet that feels sturdy and can compete with Wacom tablet features. ... show more

  • So Good I'm Selling My Intuos Pro
Size: Bundle
I’ve been using Wacom tablets for over 30 years. I’ve also been restoring high-resolution digital scans of original film for the last 15 years. This film was taken over 60 years ago, mostly images of Marilyn Monroe from the 1950s. Prints from these corrected files can sell for up to thousands of dollars. My current Wacom is the medium Intuos Pro which has been great to work with. The Xence Medium Tablet Bundle is even better! The biggest improvement is the Bluetooth connection. On the Wacom, the lag time is long enough to make it unusable for me so I have to use the USB connection. Xence uses a private Bluetooth dongle that’s pretty small. There is virtually no lag time, at least I don’t notice it at all. The Xence tablet has a larger working area that is shaped closer to the modern monitor aspect ratio. The tracking feels more natural on the Xence. There are only 3 buttons on the Xence tablet, but it comes with a Quick Key unit that includes a scroll wheel and 8 programmable buttons with OLED labels. This is another major advantage over the Wacom capacitive touch ring. On the Wacom, it is very difficult to make small changes, say increasing the brush size from 35 to 40. This is quite easily accomplished with the Xence physical wheel. It also spins freely to quickly make large changes. There is a remote for the Wacom, but that’s another $100. Xence also provides excellent customer service. I had an issue using it with Topaz Mask AI which would usually crash. They posted an updated driver about 2 weeks after I reported the issue. I learned that I was the only customer with that issue. Now it works perfectly!! Now that's customer service plus... If I love this so much, why does it only get 4 stars? I rarely, if ever, give 5 stars. This product does deserve a top rating except for one thing. It doesn’t come with a pen stand! Considering how well thought out the Xence is, it is a mystery to me how they missed that one. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ ... show more

  • Great Tablet... but quick keys device is flawed
Size: Bundle
I've had this tablet since December of last year and have used this tablet on Clip Studio Paint, Paint Tool Sai, and Photoshop. I love the pressure this tablet provides when drawing. I use the 3 button pen the most as it feels the most comfortable in my hand compared to the other. However, I love that the other pen does provide another feel. The customization is nice with the lighting, varying from blue, aqua, to green in color. While I can rave on and on about this tablet... the quick keys device is rubbish. I have used the quick keys device a total of 8 times while drawing as I have naturally not found the rhythm to use it and adjust the way I draw to hit a few buttons. While it was great with the copying/pasting, I mainly used it for zooming and undoing mistakes while drawing. Today, October 14th, I planned to give this another go. However, it no longer works. The device has always been plugged in when not in use. I tried to turn this on and nothing - however what I do see is two very faint lights of blue and green flashing on the opposite side of the wheel where you turn it on. It no longer pops up on the xencelabs control program when you hit the center button of your tablet. Yes, this was something I rarely used and it doesn't take away from the tablet itself - however for the price point of this tablet - this device should not have stopped working less than a year into owning it and less than 10 uses. Let alone, this device is marked at a value of 100.00 on its own. I'm very disappointed that this tablet's featured products can fall apart within a years time. In my opinion, get the tablet without this feature if it is offered. Love the tablet, but in my eyes it is not worth the value I paid for if a key component is no longer working - it makes makes wonder when the tablet will stop working as well. ... show more
