  • Impressive.
This airbrush paints better than a name-brand airbrush 2-3 times the cost. Have fully disassembled and reassembled multiple times, the quality of the parts is as good as any airbrush I own. I’ll be buying another one, wishing I’d bought three of these instead of one of the supposedly best on the market. Pistol-grip trigger action is smooth with a wide range. I feel like I have better control even on fine details than a dual-action traditional top-side trigger. Zero complaints. ... show more

  • Very Good
Color: 131 airbrush
I purchased this to paint some plastic model kits. I'm new to airbrushes. Slight learning curve to get the air pressure correct and the thinning of some paints correct but didn't take long at all. Sprays Tamiya paints right out of the bottle with no problem. Clean up is easy. The bad. It will clog with thicker paints. Thinners will be required with some paint. Once I got the hang of it I had few issues. ... show more

  • Lots of Extras and works great.
Color: Dual-Action Trigger Airbrush
This comes with loads of extras and seems to work great. I am using for airbrush application of coats of acrylic paint with one of those small hobbyist 1/5 hp compressors. It doesn't seem to mind somewhat thicker paint, even using smallest needle. I think the swappable paint pots in several different sizes will come in handy. Some reviews claim the back piece of this (black extension on back end) is plastic, but it is not, it is just metal that is colored black. I am new to airbrush and the trigger configuration this uses seems to me WAY easier than traditional airbrushes, with their sliding button that requires contorting your hand and is very tiring. ... show more

  • It sprays
Color: 131 airbrush
Decent quality, the hose was handy. The mechanics of the brush itself is not perfect, seems to be out of whack. Although it sprays I have moved on from it to a Iwata and am not sorry.

  • First time air brushing
This was the first time I ever used an airbrush. For the price it seems ok. I was painting a chess set I 3D printed for my niece in her favorite colors. I took a star off because the instructions that came with it are terrible. The diagram doesn't even match the brush. Luckily most of these brushes are very similar and youtube has a lot of useful information for assembling and how to use an air brush. I had a lot of problems with clogging and low paint flow. I messed around with pressure a lot and couldn't really get enough paint out without having the pressure cranked all the way up and causing other problems. I switched to the largest needle set and it was better. I was using pre-thinned paint for air brushes. Maybe I just need better paint or to thin it out more. I didn't have any thinner on hand. I may update my review next time I am painting something. For the price of the airbrush, I guess I can't complain. If I start doing more painting, I may try to upgrade to something more mid-level next time and see if that makes any difference. ... show more

  • Great Product Best Customer Service
This is a very nice gun especially for this price. My only issue was that it’s meant mor for larger areas rather than very fine lines. I didn’t know that when I bought it and thought I wasn’t doing something correct so I emailed them and was told that this gun indeed is meant for spraying larger areas and I might want the other gun they Then he did something totally unexpected and told me he will send me out their other gun at no charge. Even though I wasn’t looking for a free gun he sent it out anyway. And I was totally sold on this company. This gun shoots like a more expensive gun at a very low cost. Although I still love the feel of the trigger gun, just remember that it’s not made to shoot very fine lines. I will definitely use the trigger gun when I shoot primers and large areas. Get this gun, you won’t be disappointed! ... show more

  • Awesome
I spray a lot of acrylic primer and it gums up my Iwata airbrushes like crazy. I end up cleaning them 2 -3 times per session. I was thinking I would try this one since it offered a larger needle size. Here's the review - the 0.8mm nozzle on this airbrush for me would significantly decrease the air output. I don't know why. I assume it's a gasket but everything appeared to be installed right and I was getting like 50% of the total airflow. It painted, but slowly and with no clogs. I swapped back to the 0.5mm needle and it painted great. Full power, no clogs yet after hours of spraying. As others say, it's not dual action. The trigger is actually pretty comfortable, and it's ability to pray large amounts of paint is going to have me order another one. ... show more

  • Impressive kit content but very poor performance - Not suitable for beginners!
I spent an entire day practicing and could not get consistent light misting coats at <50% trigger pulls using the back of plastic practice spoons. The pattern didn't get good until >50% trigger which doesn't help much for initial thin mist coats. I transferred the same hose/PSI and the same thinned paint to my Iwata Neo and it performed flawlessly. I got a very light mist coat with consistent coverage. This no name kit was impressive in content/price but poor in performance. For a beginner it will just cause aggravation. Beginners need to start with something that's easy to learn and predictable. I'm sure a master at airbrushing could make this airbrush perform better by tweaked paint viscosity, PSI, paint additives and technique. However I suggest beginners start with an entry level airbrush from a quality name brand (ex: Iwata Neo for <$100). In addition, you will not be able to source parts for these no name/throwaway airbrushes. The bottom line is that cheap no name airbrushes are the worst choice for beginners which is contrary to what one might think. ... show more
