This ended up looking very nice, but it was more of a chore than I would have liked to build it. But that's probably why it was so inexpensive. When building it, double check to make sure you have the right piece facing the right way. The small allen wrench that comes with takes a while to screw everything in and I was in a hurry building it and paid the price when I didn't carefully check each picture to where I was putting it together. The allen wrench builds are time consuming! If you have the allen wrench kit with a handle it will go faster. Off to order one - one of my kids must have borrowed mine. ... show more

I like everything about this rack. First of all very well packaged and arrived with no dents or scratches. The assembly was easy and everything went together perfect and square...I mounted it level I just took a crooked picture. One thing I checked before assembly was the dowel pin location for the ball rack. The dowel was not centered in the width of that piece and one way it works and the way it doesn't with my wood rack. The way I mounted is with the dowel on the bottom of that piece. I made a score keeper with colored wood beads. The cue clips work great nice and thick but we don't yank on the stick when removing we grab the stick with a thumb on the clip. I had seriously thought of making my own rack but factoring in the cost of wood, stain and time involved I decided this was a great way to go. ... show more

Product is relatively easy to assemble (although the instructions are just ok) and looks nice. Quality is fine, although it’s pine and not exactly sturdy (there were a couple of small cracks in some of the pieces - thankfully I was able to hide these when I assembled the unit). It looks great on the wall and does what it’s intended to do very well. For the money, it’s a good deal. If you’re not adept at assembling things, you may find the instructions for this unit confusing (specifically which screws to use where) - the unit is held together by the medium length black screws, the clamps for the cues are mounted with the gold screws, the bottom wall brackets are attached with the short black screws, and the unit is mounted to the wall with the long black screws (and anchors).
