  • Great purchase, just follow the instructions...;-)
I’m a professional mover so I’ve assembled and disassembled furniture for about 30 years of my life, so I guess I have a leg up on some other people. I wasn’t sure about this when I bought it because existing negative reviews, but after it arrived and I assembled it I felt solid about my purchase. It assembled correctly, it works perfectly and looks good on the wall. It was larger than I expected, but it fit perfectly on the wall in my pool table room and I was surprised at the solid construction. My advice would be to follow the directions!;) ... show more

  • Great cue pool rack!
We’ve been looking for a cue pool rack to organize our home game room. This was easy to put together and was a great addition. It looks great in our space.

  • Very Nice Rack
This is a very nice rack for the money. It is solid and seems to be made of reasonably strong materials. There are a couple of things I did to ensure this rack will be sturdy for the foreseeable future. 1. There are several small wood dowels used to hold the rack together when you assemble it. I used wood glue on the dowels as an extra measure to ensure the joints remain solid. 2. I used a much sturdier anchor when mounting the rack to my wall than the anchors that came with the kit. If you cannot mount to at least one stud, I recommend purchasing a more highly rated wall anchoring system. I used one that is rated to 175 pounds. This may be a bit of overkill, but ensures that the rack is solidly mounted to the wall. It is a very nice looking rack. Our pool table is located in our front room, so was important to have a wall rack that has a quality appearance. ... show more

  • Cheap and easy billiards storage system. Looks great mounted.
Size: 6 cues Color: Black
I have to admit, I really like this little accessory. It looks much better on the wall than I anticipated. The system is fairly easy to assemble. It came with a single page of assembly instructions, but the instructions weren't the easiest to read. However the system is so simple to put together, even without instructions I would have figured it out via trial and error. Everything shipped in a surprisingly small and lightweight package but everything you needed was in there except a Phillips head screwdriver that you'll need to do the assembly. The storage unit consisted of 7 pieces. 2 side pieces, 3 center "shelves" for the balls, a mounting rack, and a peg that inserts into the mounting rack for hanging your triangle rack. All the hardware comes organized in a small plastic bag with the instructions folded up inside of it. The system had two hanging mounts pre-installed on the mounting rack. My first complaint with this system is that the hanging mounts were positioned too closely on the mounting rack. If you intend to use your wall studs to support the weight of the storage rack you will have to disassemble the hanging mounts and reposition them further apart to align with the distance of your wall studs. Not a big deal, but something the manufacturer should have taken into consideration if they're going to pre-install any of the hardware. The system is designed to hang from the wall using the two hanging mounts. The system is so light weight on its own that I don't think it'd be a problem hanging from the drywall, But once you include the balls and sticks i fear the system would do damage to the wall. So I recommend spacing the hanging mounts so that you use the studs and also installing the bracing brackets on the bottom shelf so that they support some of the weight from the bottom. All in all it took less than 15 minutes for me to open, inventory, assemble, and mount the system. I did use a power drill but it could totally be done with a hand screwdriver as well. I will caution though. If you use a power drill, be very gentle. The wood is very cheap and soft. While repositioning the hanging mounts, I actually drilled the screws a little too deeply into the mounting rack. It didn't cause too much damage but the wood is extremely soft. Before you hang it, I advise you do some measurements along your wall. Figure out how high you want your pool cues to sit once they're positioned in the storage racks. I've seen a few reviews where people have mounted the system too high and their cues won't fit because they're hitting the ceiling. I suggest positioning the bottom rack roughly 18 to 24 inches from the floor. All in all the system is compact, lightweight, and easy to assemble. When I opened the package I thought it looked very cheap, but once it's assembled and mounted, it actually looks really nice hung on the wall. Overall I give it 4 out of 5 stars. I'm only docking it 1 star because of the cheap quality of materials and the additional assembly work that you have to do because of where the manufacturer pre-positioned some of the hardware. ... show more

  • DEFINITELY NOT DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS RACK
Size: 6 cues Color: Black
This company/manufacturer listens! (They made modifications - they did not have to - based on what i saw was positive criticism.). Was very hesitant to purchase as the reviews seemed at odds. I was most worried about the fit and soundness of the wood used, as often times holes dont align and the wood warps (or arrives warped). Let’s face it, this is NOT an heirloom piece, but we also didn’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on something that we immediately felt was throw-away upon open and assembly. PROS: 1 - Comes packaged very well - if it arrives broken have a discussion with the carrier, there’s no way its the sellers fault. 2 - Wood pieces were straight, paint was even and applied very well, holes lined up and ALL of the hardware was present. 3 - Instructions could not be easier - if you have a pool table, assemble it there, as it provides ample room to prep. 4 - Shipment was very fast - like it was almost around the block. Or delivered by drone (lol) or something. CONS: 1 - While i realize this might be picky, and would likely add to the price, i feel the vertical slats need to be longer. I feel that the included attached cue clips will weaken over time because the shortness of the vertical slats creates a situation where they clip to the cues to low on the shaft, thereby having to grip around the thicker portion of the stick. Lengthen the vertical slats by 6 inches, and this would be excellent. 2 - Wall anchors are weak - i threw them out for fear of failure. Use your own, you know you have a bunch hiding in the kitchen drawer anyways. MODIFICATION SUGGESTION UPON INSTALL: Unscrew 1 screw from each of the cue clips and replace with a drywall screw - this makes the attachment to the wall extremely sturdy. ... show more

  • Nice piece

doesn't use Only grip...include the directions. Everything is online and it's not easy for a person who doesn't use the internet. Besides that, nice piece.
