After researching multiple loft bed/desk options, I finally decided on this one and am very happy I did. Fair warning, the 2 boxes this arrives in are HEAVY - be prepared to have at least 2 people in order to move them. The good news is that the parts are well-packaged and sturdy. I also love that this company has the instruction manual online. I printed my own copy of the instructions prior to assembly and read through before opening the boxes. I found it helpful to know what I was getting into prior to setting out the parts and hardware. Overall, the instructions were very good and easy to follow. The diagrams are thorough and extra hardware comes with in the event a washer rolls away or a screw gets loose (ha!). I was able to assemble this in about 3-4 hours with breaks. Most of it I was able to do by myself, but I did need help from one other person from time to time to hold a piece in place while I secured the screws for it. There are no tools needed for this aside from the allen wrench that is provided. This works pretty well, but there are definitely a couple places where I may have said mean things to the allen wrench as I tried to maneuver a tight spot to get into - particularly the mesh at the end and the corners of the shelf where you have to line them up with the sides of the loft. Patience is key here as is being willing to breathe and loosen a screw here or there to fit pieces snugly and then retighten. The bed feels VERY sturdy which makes me feel confident it's going to work well for my teen boy and likely be something he will just keep until college. I did choose not to put the lower shelf as he uses a laptop vs a PC and won't really need it for a tower. Doing this opened up a lot of space for storage, so if that is something you're looking for - consider doing the same. I can push his bean bag chair or a storage bin underneath now rather than wasted space. ... show more

This Is A very Stable and it fits in my room very well but before you buy a Tape Measure make sure it fits in your room before you buy it and it is worth the money saves you a lot of space not gonna lie pretty worth it

The media could not be loaded. Not easy to put together, at all. But once it is up it is awesome. Every gamers dream bed. My son will fall asleep under it! but i think it is a great bed, awesome quality. Really fun and just an over all cool concept. We added the gamer chair by X Rocker as well - that another review but a good one too (Much easier to assemble lol). Very sturdy, annoying to assemble but good instructions, son absolutely loves it. Says only fits 32” or something but we removed the tv mount and bolted 41” to the sides and it worked out well ! Getting floor rocker gaming chair for inside due to the tv being low to the ground

First off, it’s amazing!!! It took my wife aprox 5 hours to build by herself. There was only one small issue that we quickly fixed( two small holes were not there that we had to drill manually with a bit) they give you extra screws and other small parts in case you lose something. We used a cordless drill with an Allen wrench bit, I highly recommend doing this because there is dozens and dozens of bolts. Comes in way too many pieces, takes hours and hours to build. One end has gaps and is uneven. Super cool idea for boys room but needs to come in panels with some assembly required instead of 600 pieces.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this for my almost 9 year old and it’s a great fit for him. He can stand under it comfortably, with room. We added LED lights, and they look great under the bed. We have a 6” mattress on the top. The TV we used inside the frame is a 32”, anything bigger than 40” would be pushing it, just fyi. As for the assembly, make sure you have a drill, because if you have to use the L-key it comes with, you’re gonna be there awhile. Some of the holes for the screws weren’t drilled properly, but this didn’t stop the bed from being built, just a pain. The metal mesh panels were frustrating and a tight fit, so make sure you give yourself a little wiggle room when assembling the bones. It’s a normal amount of noise getting up and down. The rails for the feet are uncomfortable, so we plan to buy some pool noodles or something. He’s very very happy with the set up! ... show more
