Bought this chair for my daughter as a gift, she loves it and even wanted to sleep in it the first night. She had horrible posture and sitting habits so we got this chair with a flexible portable table to position in front of her for activities. Worked like a charm and she loves the fact she can plug her headphones into the side audio. The wireless audio was a breeze to setup and works nice, plus the built in speakers have a pretty good quality sound. Seems durable enough for small kid to medium young adult. In our case it was worth a little more money than the cheap gaming chairs that the local stores were selling at Christmas time. I'd recommend this product to others. This was a gift for my tweener son. It was not on his Christmas wish list, but I saw him eyeing one at a retail store. The price I paid for this gaming chair is about a fourth of the price of the one in store- and it has everything to make it the coolest gift for him (dual speakers on head rest, headphone jack, volume control, arm rests, comfy, aesthetic). It came in a big box, and I wrapped it and put it under the tree. It was huge and intriguing! My son loved guessing what it was, opening it, assembling it. He keeps saying "I love my gaming chair!" Update: There's wired and wireless sound options. The wired option works flawless and the wireless options has a little static. The equipment needs to be plugged to be powered. ... show more

Like the sound and comfort. Dislike the wireless and assembly. Pros - speakers are plenty loud and rumble the set bottom. Makes for an awesome gaming experience. Comfortable shape of the chair and quality of the fabric. Im 5’11” and could sit here for hours. Cons - installation is about 30 minutes, but five of that is spent hammering in the sleeve for the armrest pivot point. The build quality and manufacturing should allow for the piece to fit snugly inside of the armrest, but after building three of these chairs in a week, all three of them require hammering in the sleeve into the plastic whole of the arm chair. Why not ship the arm rest rails with this piece already installed? There is no reason to force us to hammer it in the place on every one. Wireless is terrible. I do not recommend using it. The idea is genius and i wanted it to work so badly, but the execution is problematic, There is so much static and background noise that gaming is not even possible. the buzz is so loud all the time. I switched to hardwired cables, and the noise went away. Build quality is good overall but the picture with the armrests shows what happens after actuating the arm only one time. The gray paint scraped right off of the black plastic after one single rotation up and down. The chairs were worth it for me because wireless is not a requirement and I knew ahead of time about the assembly issue. ... show more

I read reviews. I don’t understand others complication with the audio and speaker features. I was half tempted to buy the accessories for outputs, etc… but we totally did not need them. No issues with the arm assembly. This thing is high quality and heavy. Perfect for my kids and me. I sat fine in it, I’m close to 200lbs. Kids are enjoying it as well. This chair has been fantastic. It was exactly what I was looking for. The speakers are very powerful and sound pretty good, not absolutely amazing, but solid. The chair itself is very comfortable. If it helps anyone wondering how it'll be for them, I'm about 230 lbs and 5'10" tall. Its low to the ground which was exactly what I was looking for for my retro game set up. I have it positioned in front of a 24" crt tv which is an a 2ft stand. I find my eye level is about at the exact middle of the screen, which is perfect. It's also nice you can plug headphones into the chair so you can play older game systems with that instead of through speakers without needing a whole separate sound system. The set up was very easy, you just have to screw in the arm rest pieces and unfold the chair. ... show more

Love it so much I bought a second one! Not crazy about the indention it leaves in the carpet but i put a giant blanket, folded up, under it and it's awesome! It's nice to be lifted a little that way too. I'm thinking about pricing some nice pet pillows to put under them. ANYWAY...the speakers are where this one shines. The speakers on in front, literally inches from your ears, which makes it very easy to hear and we all agree it really helps submerge you into the game. All the games seem better and I hear things I have not heard. PLUS, the subwoofer makes it come alive! I haven't recieved the second one yet but we've purchased others by Ace Bayou and those lasted for several years and then some! The speakers were on the sides and to me this model is great if you really want to use the seat to its full potential. Also, it has an out so I should be able to run it into the second seat thus both seats will be popping with awesome DVD and video gaming sound. ... show more
