I was skeptical about this foundation because of the low price. But then again, for less than $10 I thought why not. It’s already cheaper than most drugstore brands. Wasn’t sure on the shade match so I just guessed. I ordered 05 Sand. For reference, I’m usually shade 310 in Fit Me Matte & Poreless. I am a normal to dry skin type. Mature, over 40 skin. When I got it in the mail, it was a little darker than I expected, but I knew with the right concealer & careful blending I could make it work & I was right! I love this foundation! As someone who owns approximately 30 foundations, I find myself reaching for this one when I want full coverage that lasts. I wear it when I’m creating content & special occasions where I know I’ll be photographed. It gives such a flawless base. I find it a little heavy for everyday wear, but I have found I can mix it with other more sheer foundations to add a little coverage or deepen the shade. It works well with other products such as primers, cream contouring products & powders. I don’t have issues with it lifting when applying other products on top. It is more on the matte side, so I use it with a pore filling primer & a liquid illuminator (Becca) underneath & it gives the most beautiful glow! I’m 44 so I try to steer clear of fully matte products but this one is so easy to adapt for my skin. I love this foundation so much I am ordering it in a lighter shade as well. Even though it is full coverage & very matte, I think it can be sheered out to be more wearable for everyday. As a former working freelance makeup artist, I think this would be a fantastic foundation to add to any professional kit! The price is affordable enough to purchase the entire shade range yet looks incredible! I think it could work for a variety of skin types. I honestly wasn't expecting much when I ordered this foundation but I was shocked! This is a great full coverage option for an AMAZING price! I love the formula, the color is a perfect match and it lasts all day. Will definitely be purchasing again and again.

I have a very hard-to-match skin tone that shifts shades quickly with just a little sun. This set is nice because I can easily combine the two colors to come up with the best mix for my current color. It provides smooth even coverage - the picture of my face is with the foundation only. It is the perfect backdrop to whatever color enhancements you do to highlight your best features. The foundation stays clean looking for several hours and in my opinion looks more natural (at least on me) after it's been on for a couple of hours. It washes off with gentle soap and warm water. This foundation provides me with great long wear coverage. I wear a primer underneath and it goes on smoothly with a damp makeup sponge. It is buildable and doesn't cake in my fine lines. I have sensitive skin and it does not cause breakouts. Word of advice Do Not get it on your clothes or fabric as it doesn't come out easily unless the fabric is washed. I really like this foundation and find that it covers blemishes well. It doesn't dry my skin out and stays on all day at work. I've spent 5x more on foundation that doesn't provide nearly the same coverage and feels watery. Pheora is a full coverage foundation that is not too thick and very easy to apply and blend. Some days I use a foundation brush, other days I use a sponge, either way I always get a nice, smooth finish. The only downside to this foundation is the are not many colors to choose from. So, I really like this foundation because of the coverage, the only three problems I have are that number one, it makes my face shiny even though it's supposed to be matte, so I always have to put a powder over top of it, unlike other foundations that I've used. The other thing that I really hate is how it transfers onto everything. I put a mask on, it's all over inside the mask. I put gloves on because I'm a caregiver and touch the back of the glove to my cheek or something and it's on the glove. I give someone a hug and if they're wearing a dark colored shirt, it's evident on their shirt. Now this is long wearing, but why does it come off on everything? Also, I have a crease like a smile line from my nose down to my cheek which this make up really kind of accentuates actually. It does not fill in the line. I love everyrhing about this product from how affordable it is to how smoothly it blends and covers. I am finicky about the feel and coverage of makeup. I've spent FAR too much on mediocre foundations that end in disappointment until I tried Phoera. I was even more pleasantly surprised to find a great quality cover-up at such a great price!!! The coverage does not cake on yet it blends well and fully conceals my flaws - my blotchey, sun damaged cheeks and forehead. I don't know if it has been tested as a uv block, but I've worn it through summer and notice when I do wear it I don't get sunburn on my face so it also seems to help prevent further damage - but I would still use sunblock if UV is a concern. I have naturally dry skin so I always have to apply a lotion and primer for my base because this foundation, alone, does not give me the moisture I need. I'm ok with that though. I personally love everything about this foundation and recommend trying to anyone who is looking for that perfect foundation that covers fully without looking like its painted on. ... show more

Works wonderfully. Great coverage. I don't like wearing a ton of make up but this covers well and does not look cakey. It does rub off a bit. As others have said, works best with a moisturizer on first.
