  • DONT BUY, SHADY & DANGEROUS MANUFACTURING
Size: Factory Package Color: Blue
Yeah, it may “look” nice, but that’s about all. This bike arrived damaged from shipping. The frame around it was all bent from being dropped from a significant hight. It’s thick angle iron that bent and several welds were snapped off. Several parts were damaged on the bike also. The seller refuses to accept it back for a full refund. They want me to pay another $400 to send it back. They also want me to keep it and fix it myself with replacement parts. The thing is, they can’t replace some parts, and now their sending the wrong parts!! Lol. Wiring is messed up. High beams on when low beams should be on, it wouldn’t start or even turn over (I had to figure that all out), the manufacturer left grease on the rear rotor and tested the rear breaks and now the pads are glazed and barely can stop, the master cylinder was filled to the very top (should only be about half way), front shocks are sticky when compressed, the chain rail is so far off that the chain is digging into the side of it, decals looks like a 10 year old put them on, all of the plastics are scratched, rear rack is totally bent, skid plate took a huge part of the damage (which they can’t replace. I was offered $30 for the rack and skid plate)… and I could still go on. This has been a complete nightmare to deal with. The seller won’t file a claim with the shipper. (Some weird company, they were supposed to knock on the door and put it in the garage, they dumped it on the driveway and took of. They obviously knew it was damaged!) They ignore most of my questions and try to steer the narrative. Yes, I have Amazon involved. So since the seller won’t pick it up, I can’t ship it back because the frame is broken and mangled. So yes, it looks nice but it’s all about how it runs and stops (or doesn’t stop) that makes a huge difference when your riding a motorcycle. I for one won’t be trusting this thing because of all of the shady work I’ve found already. And I’m still not done with it! Save yourself from injury’s likely parts failure. Stay away from this motorcycle and company for that matter. ... show more

  • Quite a bike for the money
Size: Factory Package Color: Blue
Take your time assembling and it's not that bad. I put medium loctite on all the bolts as assembling. Assembly would be easier with 2 people. The bike is great based on the rides I have done. I am very happy based on what you get for the money.

  • Cheap made bike!
Size: Factory Package Color: Blue
Don’t buy! My son bought this bike and from the jump there has been nothing but problem. We paid an extra $200 to have this bike put together before delivering. When bike was picked up the crate was snapped in half and the bike was laying on its side. Upon inspection of the bike so many things was put on backwards. The front fender was touching the exhaust manifold which when first taking off for the first ride caused the bike to start a fire, fuel shut off valve was on backwards, battery terminal was loose, along with having to jump the battery to even get the bike to start (they did send a new battery tho). Also the front breaks was not working, which caused my 2023 Kia Sportage to be hit bc the bike wouldn’t stop! So much has been wrong with this dirt bike and this 3rd party company isn’t willing to make it right at all. I do not suggest buying! ... show more

  • Absolutely fantastic value for a street-legal motorcycle that feels like a dirt bike
Size: Factory Package Color: Blue
I've been riding a little over a year, recently upgrading from a TT250 (Hawk/TBR7 family) that I customized to my liking and had 1900 miles on. I've gone around 90 miles on the Templar X 250 so far and it's the perfect upgrade for me. Seat height is perfect for me as a 5'8" man when sitting on the bike. Stock chain stretches too quickly, same as the TT. I'm replacing the chain, so I'll downsize the rear sprocket at the same time. Right out of the crate, I followed the directions to change the oil, and after adding some gas the bike started up immediately and idled with no problem! The sound is MEAN on this compared to the TT. And it's certainly got some pep, even when in 6th gear, though I'm likely to replace the absolute unit of a rear sprocket so I'm not shifting so quick on the road. It idled fine out of the crate but on the first couple rides it seemed to have an idle that wanted to go up and down, making it impossible to properly adjust, but it seems to have already broken in now and idles consistently _most_ of the time. I also had major issues shifting but realized that the clutch cable seems to stretch after riding a while, so I wasn't fully disengaging it. If you tend to shift with just a finger or two on the clutch lever, you may run into this even if you rotate the lever adjustment as far out as it will go. Will need to adjust it at the other end, shouldn't be a problem. If you've owned the Hawk series of bikes or something similar, this would be a great upgrade if you're ready for something more dirt oriented. The lighter weight makes it easier to work with off the road, and the power should help on the road, too. The gauge cluster is nice looking and will arrive displaying kilometers but can be changed to miles. Has a trip meter. This thing looks so badass, and the quality of the plastic and frame is miles ahead of the Hawk. Comes standard with usable off-road foot pegs (the left one springs back, but the right one does not) and what seems to be nice handlebars, both of those being things I had to replace on the TT. No fuel gauge on this one, but you do have a battery level readout which is useful since this bike does lack a kick-start. See the 5-speed version if you need that. I was sad to give it up but it's worth the benefit of 6th gear, I think. Be sure to get a 32mm socket for the rear axle bolt. It's large enough that I did not have one, so maybe you don't either. Passenger foot pegs are included. You'll need to reroute at least the throttle cable as on mine it did not have enough slack to turn the bars rightward without activating the throttle. The choke lever near the clutch is convenient. The TT had an off/half on/full on lever located down on the engine, which you then had to reach down and switch it off. This one you just hold down as needed, and it springs back into place when you let go. But a little more inconvenient would be the fact that you have to hold down one of the brake levers to start the motorcycle, otherwise the starter won't have power. This can be the rear or front brake, but either way you're prevented from bump starting the engine if ever needed, and stalling out is a little harder to recover from. Strangely, the electric start button still receives power with the engine stop / kill switch activated, though. It doesn't start the engine but it'll make you feel silly if it takes you a while to realize. The turn signal button broke off mysteriously before uncrating even began, but using just the metal lever feels surprisingly satisfying to use after the TT250's signal control that would sometimes not cancel without several pushes of the button. You probably will appreciate that the headlight is manually controlled, never coming on by itself unless you leave the switch on. I assembled it myself at a leisurely pace over several days but lifting the bike from the crate wasn't exactly easy alone. I don't think this would be a bad beginner motorcycle but I think it's good I got experience on the TT250 before getting the extra height and power. It feels like a big difference and throttle control becomes a little more important. This bike does actually have a clutch friction zone, though, whereas the TT250 was a little trickier to learn exactly when you needed to open the throttle. ... show more
