Over all it is a nice project to keep an old man busy. (88 years old) The only thing that I would have liked to see would have been a hood the same color as the vehicle. I am waiting on a pipe bender so I can complete the bend of the railing around the seating area. So far that is the main problem I had. It was hard steering until I did a front end alignment. It had a bad case of toe out. I painted the hood and put an Air Force decal on it, and will be using the identification markings Thad was on the jeep I had overseas in the service. Was excited for this product with the reviews/youtube videos found during my research. Shipping was delayed due to lack of commuinication of issues being PO box connected to the address on file with Amazon (first issue in 4 years). Had to drive an hour to frieght terminal to pick it up in time for the birthday party. Missing lugs for wheels (2), missing two suspension bolts/nuts which delayed the assembly time. Front fenders have wear/rub marks on the unit after removing plastic wrap (pics included). Kids did enjoy driving it and it functioned as it should so far. Gear change display is glitching as well. Seems to be a decent product but no better than what I would expect from a Tractor Supply unit. ... show more

Had this go-kart for about a couple months now or whatever you want to call it. It started to leak oil. Don't know if I'm driving it too hard but it's a go-kart. Added a trailer hitch added a purple underglow. We think it needs a new gasket. Also heard that the oil cap can also burn up and you need to replace that sometimes. Also if it doesn't start sometimes you might need to buy a new battery. It might be dead. Do not leave the key on so far it's still leaking oil. Do not want to take the whole thing apart and fix the gasket. We just keep filling it with oil. Hopefully the engine doesn't blow up over. All this thing is cool 🤨🤔 you also can buy a little bit of similar one but different at tractor supply. ... show more

I thought I was going to die putting this thing together by myself in the summer heat, but wow was it worth it. I ordered one early in case there were any issues, because I wanted it ready for Christmas. The plastic wrap was super annoying to get off but I’m sure it did provide some level of protection and the shipping container was a chore in and of itself. That being said I found a YouTube video that I watched several times before it arrived and watched while I assembled it which made it easy from instructional standpoint even if it could have been a little physically demanding without help. Once it was together I filled it with non-ethanol gas and after finding that I had to turn the gas valve on it started right up. It is pretty fast it drove me and my wife up a small hill at around 35mph in third gear but I think most younger kids would probably be fine as long as they don’t go faster than second gear. Which brings me to the next point it actually has three forward gears and a reverse. Which I was unsure of until it actually arrived. With it being two wheel drive I don’t think it would handle mud that well, but if you have woods, pastures, or understanding neighbors in a neighbourhood it will be fine. After the kids get it for Christmas I am planning on welding a small trailer hitch to the back to cart around one of those little lawnmower trailers which it will handle no problem especially in first gear. So far everything seems very high quality and the only issue I had was a missing bolt or two for attaching the spare tire. I would highly recommend and I plan on buying a set of the four wheelers for next years Christmas. Quick update after six months. It doesn’t like to sit for more than a few weeks or it can be a little hard to start but that is any carbureted engine. And I am upgrading to more aggressive mud tires which will suit our needs better the factor tires may be fine for your needs. Everything else has been great the kids love it and I welded a hitch to the back so we could pull a lawnmower trailer behind it. ... show more

Need more information. Is there any grease fittings? Really need a gas gauge. Over all fun little jeep. Spare tire only good for front. And hard to steer. 10 year old can’t turn it. Battery was hard to install, had plastic body in the way.
