The Wyze Cam V3 is good, the image quality is good and the Wyze app is very intuitive to use. I have two Wyze Cam V3 in my home and both works very well, one of them is one year old and I had no issues so far. What I like most is that even with a very dim light at night makes the image to be in color instead of black and white. The only thing I dislike is the fact that the Wyze app crashes after some time when I leave it opened to see a live view of my backyard camera.     • So much better than Ring
I got one of these to monitor my back yard shed and RV garage. I put it inside and pointed out the window. That requires turning off the infra-red lights so they don't reflect off the glass but the night vision is great without the lights. The motion detection is way better than my Ring floodlight and I’ll be replacing it with one of these. It will detect pets and I just turned off notifications for pets so I only get a text is an actual person is in the back yard. I have had ZERO false alarms in the month since installing. I had to turn off alarms completely on my Ring because it will notify me of birds, shadows, rain, just useless. I put an SD card in (32GB is the max) so it will store locally if you don’t use cloud subscription or internet goes down. (Router is on UPS for local network funtionality) ... show more

What more could you ask for? Great camera at a great price. Does everything the more expensive ones do at a fraction of the cost. I have not had any issues with the 2 that I have, they seem very dependable and the picture is great. I plan on picking up another in the near future.

The media could not be loaded. I initially ordered this camera to put in my garage to keep an eye on my puppy when it storms. I didn’t expect much in the way of picture quality. I was blown away by the clarity and resolution. I have some pretty expensive, name brand cameras and this cheap one exceeds them all! I have been telling everyone I know about Wyze cams and I even purchased one for my grandma who has had some suspicious activity around her home. I couldn’t recommend this camera enough! You have to scan a QR code that's on the screen of your phone with the camera in order for the camera to even work(get set up/activated). It's ridiculous. I've tried everything n I can't even activate the camera meanwhile my 3 month subscription is being used up. There are other camera company options that are just as affordable without this nonsense. I want to add to my review I did fix the issue. The brightness on my phone was too high for the camera to read the QR code. Just in case anyone else is having that issue. Also the pic quality is great, paid service is great too. It records for as long as there's movement. Other cameras usually just record for 39sec or so. ... show more

    • Easy to install and use.
I like the ability to record to a memory card in the device, and ease of filtering clips. The app is easy to use. I just wish they had an outdoor solution for the USB charger.
