  • Wildly inconsistent results
Stand on the scale repeatedly and you will begin to see a pattern... the scale reads a different weight every time. I was getting readings that fluctuated anywhere from 3-12lbs in any direction. Needless to say I became very angry. It's impossible to tell how much you weigh. People who gave this scale a good review are clearly accepting the first result they get or doing a series of complex math equations to figure out their actual weight. I finally got it to read consistently in ONE spot in my living room and only after I placed the scale on top of a heavy cutting board. In short, this was infuriating. I was testing the scale within minutes of weigh-in, while wearing the same thing, standing in the same location, and after it was recalibrated. At one point I was holding a heavy stack of books (5lbs) and the scale read my weight as 3 lbs less. The scale is indeed very accurate if you take it to a space engineering lab and place it on a concrete block that is perfectly level. Once you get it to work it will detect very small variations such as .1, .2lbs, but for my purposes, this is kind of useless. I just need to know (consistently) if I'm gaining or losing within 1lb margin in any direction. I bought the scale based on a friend's recommendation and when I told him of my multiple weigh-in results and the wild fluctuations he went and did the experiment himself. Guess what he found... the same exact thing! I returned this thing immediately and got my money back. After that, I bought a mechanical scale which is consistent every time. Oh and one last thing, the tapping to turn it on, never works right. You have to sort of stomp it or get creative. Terrible. ... show more

  • Do Not Purchase
I've only owned this scale for 3 months. It either reads ERR for error or LO for low battery. I've replaced the battery three times and within a day or two it does the same. (I even purchased new batteries.) You can also get on it and it won't give read your weight at all. Just keeps resetting back to zero. Have to get on and off several times before it will register. The weight screen isn't lit so it's also very hard to see your weight (read the number) if you can get it to work. I've ordered a different brand scale already and this one is going in the trash. ... show more

  • Different reading each time I step on the scale
I made the mistake of buying 2 of these scales. It is frustratrating to see a different reading each time I step on the scale varying up to 2 pounds difference in the reading. By the time I'm done, I have no idea which reading is correct. I'm ready to pitch the scale and buy a reliable one of another make. ... show more

  • Great scale - with added extras
I received this scale today, it was easy to follow the directions to set up. What's more, there is not app to download on you phone, everything is easily readable right on the scale!

  • Regular Visit to Your Doctor Smart
Been using it for six months. Very pleased. Smart to keep track of vital stats when speaking with your doctor on your next regular checkup. You helping Dr.s helps them better help you. I hear that they are no longer endorsed by the medical community because of inconsistency between products and testing of BMI. However, I understand all agree it is a good indicator of one's progress or decline in that it tracks your particular stats. Might be best to get BMI tested professionally then use the scale and understanding any bias it may have. ... show more

  • What's my weight? It will tell you 20 different weights in 30 seconds!
The scale is a nice size, and comes in a nice package. However, you can step on the scale and it will give you a weight. Wait two minutes and step back on and it will weigh 5 pounds heavier. I don't want a scale with a 5 pound spread. I have a hard surface, even floor - it should be more accurate. Very disappointed ... show more

  • but it looks like I'll continue to use the older ones for now
This scale broke within one month after getting it. I had an older scale from WW that is still weighing from 7 years ago....and, the weight is still right on the mark. I wanted to have another set available when the old ones finally wore out, but it looks like I'll continue to use the older ones for now. I guess I got a bad lemon because WW products are usually good and dependable. ... show more

  • Perfect Kick Start
I love my WW Scale by Conair. Normally I'd been monitoring my weight with the old fashioned scale. After joining Weight Watchers I decided it was time to take it up a notch. I love keeping track of my weight, body fat, body water, and bone mass. After a couple of days, I got on and it said Err. I found that the times I would have any problems with that would be when my feet were really dry or the glass needed to be cleaned. I still think it's the best scale I've ever had. I recommend it. ... show more
