Very comfortable, nice material, handy pockets, good value. Very happy, BUT the waist runs a size big for me. No problem for me since I read many reviews and several said to order a size smaller. I'm a 38" waist and the 36" waist that I ordered fit PERFECT. The length runs true to size. I've bought 4 pairs of different colors of these short pants and love them. ... show more

These have most of the features I want in a pair of cargo shorts, and none that I don't. They are well-designed, appear to be well made, and are less than half the price charged by my usual supplier for similar shorts. They are indeed a "relaxed" fit. I usually wear a 38" waist, but because they are so roomy and are woven with a little spandex, a 36 might fit better. Also, the text description indicates they have 6 pockets. Mine (in Olive) came with a 7th pocket on the right, which I've been using for a cell phone. It has no closure and is nearly big enough to contain my entire hand with fingers and thumb held flat. For some colors, this pocket appears to be on the left; for other colors, it appears to be on the right; for still others, it isn't clear that they have the 7th pocket at all. ... show more

I wear these more than anything else. They’re light enough for warm weather, but they are also what I wear around the house all year round. They are not heavy duty. Not the pick if you need something abrasion resistant. They are, however, super comfortable and sturdy enough for general wear. Sizing is generous.
