Ordered these on a whim, and I usually don't have great luck, but these were pretty good. White shorts are hard, because they're usually super see through. My biggest peeve is white shorts where you see everything. These are slightly more see through than I'd prefer, you can see the outline of pockets, but not so noticeable that it bothered me too much. I'm 5'2" & 170lbs, ordered the XL. I carry my weight in my lower abdomen after two c-sections and it's most problem zone. These shorts actually had a flattering fit with enough stretch to be comfortable. I love a stretchy pair of denim, but it's usually not flattering because it just expands to fit over the buldge instead of offering compression. These don't have compression but they did lay flat nicely in the front. ... show more

I am so happy with these shorts! The newest trends with high waists just don't ever seem to fit my body and I don't like shorts that are so short my booty hangs out. It seems like finding cute, flattering, and (age) appropriate shorts for a mom in her mid 30's is nearly impossible, but these are a total win. I ordered both a large and an XL because I wasn't sure which size to go with. I am between a 10/12 with my mom bod/pooch, 5'6" and about 160#. The XL were SUPER comfortable, but they had a ton of extra room and I was afraid after a few hours they would get too baggy. I ultimately sent the XL back and kept the large. I’m 5’3 145lbs and a large fit me best. I always struggle to find shorts because I have bigger thighs. I ordered a medium first, but felt they were too tight for my liking. The material has plenty of stretch & is comfortable. I’ll be ordering more!
