These trays seem very sturdy and also appear to be waterproof, though I have not verified this with any testing. I like these better than the comparable Plano trays because the Flambeau trays use nicer plastic dividers. Their dividers are not connected together and therefore do not require twisting them apart, like pieces to a plastic scale model. This means that each individual piece is cleanly molded, without remnants from where the pieces were previously attached. Also, the plastic used for the dividers is of a higher grade, being more rigid and therefore more uniformly sized. They fit into the trays precisely. ... show more

2 of the 6 I ordered where damaged in shipment. 1 had a busted cover and 1 had a busted locking hinge. That probably doesn't bode well for their long term "tuff"ness. this is great for keeping things dry and making sure the container does not come open accidentally. Small hooks don't stay in their dividers if they have been jostled around, but not enough to bother me. I like that it is watertight and the dividers are sturdy.
