Torquing the 1/4 inch flares to specifications is difficult to achieve due to how soft the copper material is. The flare deformed and may leak refrigerant.

You have to be very careful on how much you bend these lines. They kink very easily. It’s unfortunate because bending them is typically needed for installing a mini split .
