  • Great value and super easy to use
Pattern Name: 1
This is such a great product, especially for the cost. It works super well and is making a great practice tool for me while I prepare to look for an internship. It's super easy to use, comes with all the parts it needs and more, and feels really, really professional! I am honestly shocked at the price for this, since it comes with actual metal parts, multiple grips, needles, all the power cord stuff, and tons of information and support. I struggled to put everything together properly at first, so I messaged the seller (with photos! always include photos if you want useful help) and they got back to me in less than 24 hours with all the information I needed to make these work. Now they're going strong and working exactly as advertised. ... show more

  • Great to start on practice objects!
Pattern Name: 1
The issues I encountered with shipping arent reflective of the product itself. I setup was very easy and everything fits together well. One of the machines is less desirable than the other based on contour. Makes it harder to set the rubber band. The ink that I have used (which is most of it) have worked very well on the synthetic skin. Given that I am learning. I have also tattooed fruit and this kit accomplished that much more smoothly than the fake skin. I am waiting on some sanitation and other such items to arrive before I tattoo real skin but I have believe this kit will do very well until I can upgrade to a pen style later on. ... show more

  • Only very basic instructions, so get ready to YouTube to feel confident
Pattern Name: 1
My hubs got this for me as he’d like to see me start dabbling in tattoos (for him, if nothing else) & I really appreciated this allowed me to try tattooing without sinking a ton of money into practicing on fake skins & fruit lol I love to draw & paint and have done both on human canvases, but tattooing is a whole different ballpark. With so much included in this initial kit, (& coupled with a decent amount of time on YouTube haha), it really helped me address a few things I wanted to make sure of before ever putting needle to actual skin (skip to end for quick overview): A) KNOW THY EQUIPMENT. I always think it’s crazy when people in any industry don’t know how to build/break down or do basic repairs on their equipment; for me, you can’t possibly be an expert, master, or even really good at what you do without having some basic knowledge about how it all works. This kit has enough “stuff” to really get you familiar with the basics and get your hands dirty without scarring someone for life ;) It doesn’t have great INSTRUCTIONS on assembling things - they are super general, though the pics helped a little. The QUALITY of what you get is nice (guns are heavy & solid, everything was packaged well - sanitary & easy to organize) and the PRICE POINT allows you to feel OK tinkering without any giant repercussions if you fork it up - at least financially. B) FUNDAMENTALS. No one should put ink on someone without learning the rudimentary basics of lining, shading, hygiene, color-mixing, placement, etc. This kit won’t teach you that stuff, but you have the basics to get you familiar with things to help you transition from canvas/fan to actual artist. It also has enough little extras (varied sizes/styles of needles, grips, ink cups, etc) to intro you to some of the things you may not really pay attention to as a canvas (various ink cup sizes, needle size, needle speed & depth, etc. I did buy some GREEN SOAP, which would be a nice little addition to a kit like this. And the INKS seem OK - I’ve only had time to play with some of the colors & can’t speak to the black yet, but I would like to try various popular brands to see the difference on how they stick to the needle and go on the skin now that I’m getting comfortable with the whole process. C) PRACTICE, PUNK! Let’s be frank - there are some real sh!tshow tattoos out there that you damn well know were done by someone who thought they were a decent artist in some other medium and put out their shingle without taking the time to practice to perfect not only their basics, but the nuances that are necessary for being GOOD at any medium. You can’t just be a good drawer or painter and then start slapping ink on someone & get a decent result. It’s very different. This kit has what you need to see if it’s even something you CAN do, as well as being an eye opener about whether you WANT to. Practice skin, different ink colors, various needles & grips, a liner & shader, etc. Does the job. Me personally? Having been able to spend under $40 to figure out what it’s like to work on a soft, pliable, rounded, moving canvas, how the ink sits in the gun/on the needle and applies to the skin, how to load the ink & to see how acts on the skin, to be able to fiddle with guns , needle depth & speed - worth it. Will this kit satisfy a veteran tattooist? Will these be the only guns you’ll ever need? Could you conduct business with this kit alone? No - it’s a beginning set with enough stuff to get your hands on the very basic stuff you need to learn about the equipment & to practice tattooing. It’s the pre-k kit before venturing into the primary school of touching your first human canvas LOL. ... show more

  • great value for the price.
Pattern Name: 1
I really liked the kit, it's easy to use. I did the skeleton hand on my hand the day i recieved it and it turned out pretty good, considering i haven't tattooed in over 2 years. The ink wasn't bad, but i prefer moms brand. But i mean you get what you pay for. My skin did hold it well though so no complaints from me over it. I really enjoy the kit and i recommend it. I didn't have problems with the power supply box like other people did and i've done 4 tattoos so far. It was smaller than expected but it does it's job so no complaints about that either. i'm really satisfied. ... show more

  • Looks like it was a returned item
Pattern Name: 2
Got the package and the box had a sticker with a different person's information sticker partly removed. Not sure how I feel about getting someone else's returned item. Everything was there and still in the packaging, except one of the machines seemed to be open. Now just hope everything works, not enough time to return and get another one. Little tacky to leave it in the returned box with someone else's label. ... show more
