When shopping for electric bikes, I found prices and features to be all over the place. we wanted an electric bike that would fold so we could take it in our SUV or in our travel trailer. We didn't want a folding 20" bike, which is what mostly what is associated with a folding electric bike. When we found the Totguard 26" folding electric bike, it checked all of our boxes. This bike looked tough with a mountain bike style, fat tires , wider seat, headlight, folding frame and a 500 watt motor. We liked the looks and features of the ebike so much that we purchased two (His and Her's). at 62 and 59 years old, we wanted an ebike so we could get a work out, but also have the ease of using power when needed. Assembly was a breeze, with 75% of the ebike already assembled upon arrival. I am 5-8" and my wife is 5-9" and the bike fits us both comfortably and is fun to ride. It appears to be of good quality and time will tell how well it holds up. I would like to find additional spare batteries, but that looks like it will take some time and research to locate who someone who sells them. Overall, Two thumbs up! ... show more

    • This is a TALL order!
I am a keen 5'4 and a half. I'm not tall, but I'm not too short either. I read that you should be about 5'4-5'5 and up. I barely touch the ground, but when I stop the bike, I can rest and sit on the middle part (battery area) if you will. That being said, I LOVE this thing. Set up was easy (make sure the front tire is on the right side so the breaks align. My first ride, I took it 5 miles around my neighborhood. I made sure to get on some dirt and gravel trails as well. It handled beautifully on all surfaces. The tires are amazing, as they take in every major bump without issue. The seat is also very comfortable (and I have a somewhat wider bottom). The next day, I took it 7 miles and it was a Rockstar. The assist is powerful, and it's been a great entry into riding again. I also have arthritis so when I'm having a bit of a sore day, it's helpful to be able to use the assist when I need to. I love that it folds. It fits in the back of my Crosstrek just fine. I have yet to take it to my local park, (it's been too cold in PA), but I tested it to see if it would fit. I would not recommend lifting this thing on top of a car. It's HEAVY. Packaging was great. 0 issues with delivery (After I went through buying a bike a few weeks before and having it get lost, I was grateful this came early!). I am grateful this worked out the way it did, because the tires on this make all the difference. It's only been a couple of weeks, but I am happy with my purchase so far. ... show more

    • Extremely heavy - Chain off track - Charger port indicator not working properly
Poorest customer service ever. Beautiful bicycle, unfortunately, extremely heavy, really hard to fold. Not so hard to assemble. Manual does not match with the bicycle model, charging port indicator does not show if the battery is charged or not. Chain came off track and the directions provided by seller does not work. They won't honor Amazon return policies. I had to pay for shipping costs to return, the cost for shipping is over $150. So, if you receive your bicycle damaged or with any issues be prepared to pay for shipping to return it. Seller sent 2 different return addresses and Amazon customer service will not give you any support since they are a 3rd party seller. ... show more

    • It's good for large people it's heavy.
Really great bike for tall people. The forks are less than good. They failed pretty quickly and are mushy and sticky. Brakes are less than great as they put 140 mm rotors on here. They should have at least 160 as the bike is almost 80 lb. Also it is not easy to fold. Caution it's a beast. It's fun and it's fairly Zippy off the line. Especially if you give it a pedal assist in three you can keep up with cars to 22 miles an hour. My concern is that it the cheap rims will crack like it's little sister the woken. The frame itself is a good one and I have seen it used on other brands. It's a great start if we want to build up a bike but I would buy something that already had hydraulic brakes. The media could not be loaded. People are in awe of this bike....First of all - you have to be close to 6ft 180cm, to ride this comfortably - they recommend 5ft 8 to 6ft6.. The center dampener can handle 1000 lbs, and the front suspension is no joke either. The frame is very large - so smaller folks have no chance of handling this. It's heavy too..Don't buy this for your wife or little brother...But what ride... You're on par with motorcycles ... and you can go off road... Just be careful - most dogs get scared of it - since the size is so intimidating, I am 6ft2, with a helmet, gloves and face mask, elbow pads - it can scare people...nobody messes with you.... When I pedal hard I go to 30mph (with assist), but normally it goes to more like 23mph which is plenty for such a large and heavy mountain bike... The ride is just excellent - offroad, concrete...anywhere...And the saddle?? Amazing. Cons: breaks could need a little more power... Maybe the name, and logo? And heavy - it's not easy to handle and move around! My legs are already ultra muscular, but my arms too, from handling it! I go to work on it - and arrive pumped up!...... I get nothing but compliments,,, I think there is nothing under 1500USD that can compete with it - they made a mistake with the price...Materials are just SOLID !!! ... show more
