I love to watch my granddaughter but it can be hard to keep her busy. This all in one box craft kit was a winner. Made just for grandparents like me who need a mellow sit at the table kind of activity, it kept her quiet and busy for several hours which is hard at 4 years old. Not only that but she loved it and thinks I am the best grandparent ever. This tiny box is full of everything you need and does not leave any mess to clean up. Includes 24 wooden magnets which get "painted" with pens for a no mess deal. After that dries you can add the stick on jewels which a girl loves ya know. Then there are 3 tubes of glow in the dark paint, just use them minimally so they last for all 24 magnets. It doesn't take much to glow anyhow. When it is all completed the magnets just peel and stick on the back. I haven't had any fall off yet but if they do I have a back up plan to use hot glue to get them back on there. The wooden pieces are thin enough that they are not heavy. So if you want to be the #1 grandparent (or parent, aunt, uncle, friend, or babysitter) get this complete craft in a box for your lil afternoon sidekick. It will be a hit for sure. ... show more

This activity is so cute and keeps my 4-yr-old occupied! The wood shapes are very well made and with smooth edges. The paint markers are a good size, I.e., they last with plenty of paint. The paint dries quickly. It will transfer to skin but does wash off. The glow solution takes a little longer to dry as noted in the instructions. I do wish there was more of the glow solution, not nearly enough for the number of pieces. But overall a fantastic craft. Would be perfect for a sleepover or birthday party group. ... show more

I’m pretty sure we’ve gone through three or four of these kits. The paint is good quality. It actually glows in the dark. We’ve use these for parties and the kids love them and keep them entertained for an hour or two cut quality as well.

I got these for my kids to use, ages 3-12. This set really works well for all of them! The markers are washable, and then my older kids use the special glow-in-the-dark paint to make the magnets extra special. I brought these on a family vacation in case we needed a rainy day activity for the kiddos and today it came in very handy. We had five kids ages 5-12 that enjoyed coloring and designing these magnets. The bee magnet was missing a piece of the wing but the others were all really nice and easy to color. The paint markers were like using crayola markers, brightly colored and washed right off of the table and the kids hands. They dried instantly so not really painting at all. The glow paint however, was super difficult to work with and we ended up not using it after trying it on the first magnet. It is thick, goopy and comes out thick like elmers glue. It was hard for adults to use, for the kids it was impossible. If it had a smaller tip or maybe some brushes it would be easier to apply. There were a lot of colored gems in a variety of rainbow colors and they stuck on easily. They were my 5 year old niece's favorite thing! Even with the glow paint being difficult to work with, I would still recommend these. They turned out really cute. ... show more
