I’ve been buying low cost composite wood type furniture my whole adult life from places like ikea and Amazon so I know how different this bed is from the norm. When I tell you the formaldehyde offgassing was awful, it’s an understatement. We bought this bed in early 2023 and by the time we decided to disassemble and put it on the curb in the trash months later it STILL had a strong odor. I even bought charcoal packets and formaldehyde removing containers, but I couldn’t shake the smell or the feeling that I’d be risking my toddler’s health to continue using the bed. Then we got an Alexa air quality sensor which showed VOCs consistently above recommended levels just in my daughters room, so it was time to get a green guard pottery barn bed. I’m extremely disappointed with this bed and with Amazon for saying I could disassemble and send back in the original box which was long gone. Purchase at your own risk; please don’t though esp if it’s for a child. Formaldehyde exposure is no joke. ... show more

The bed is really pretty and seems sturdy but there are no plugs to cover the screws once you finish putting it together. Would have been a five star otherwise.

The slats are different sizes so some were too short, went to screw them in and split the wood. Day bed is unstable and looks like crap!!! Cheap and not made with working parts. Would return if I didn't have to undo it all. Such a scam.
