This has been the best wood oil I have found. I have a new butcher block island top, wanted to give it some protection and color while still keeping it food safe. Leave it on for 24 hours then wipe it with a clean cloth. No oily residue or stickiness like some other oils.

Very easy to use. Smell wasn't bad and it came off my hands easily with soap and water. Dried in about 10 to 15 minutes. I let it sit for 24 hrs before I used my new butcher block counter. This product worked great on my newish cutting board... left a beautiful glossy finish. However, when I tried it on my old butcher block island... It looked like it just sucked it in.(no smooth glossy finish) This made me decide to strip by sanding, then I am approximating maybe needing about 4 bottles total to finish because wood is old and extremely dry. ... show more
