I didn’t have a lot of expectations for this bed frame but it well exceeded my expectations. The backboard part is like a fuzzy texture that gives it an even more chic feel to it. The fuzzy part really makes the whole bed frame look very expensive and an overall really nice look! 100% recommend.

So I've been doing these reviews for nearly a year now and I have to say this might be the finest thing I've managed to order decor wise because while I love all sorts of materials, natural wood objects in particular really get my giggle on like no other, and this Kislot frame has this natural look in spades. It's quite attractive, almost mid-century looking but not quite with it's modern upholstered self, and makes a nice replacement for my queen sized metal frame since I'm attempting to downsize to full to open up my bedroom more. I got the frame together yesterday and it currently has my old queen mattress on it until I can procure a new full one to fit and it works ok and the frame looks fantastic, even with an oversized mattress hanging off the sides! Overall, the setup process wasn't too difficult but in no way was it simply a half hour job as suggested unless you're setting up in an empty room, otherwise plan on spending a good afternoon taking down your old bed, moving things around and cleaning and such, and then setting up your new bed right. Still, in spite of this optimism time wise, the directions were clear and I appreciate the individual bagged hardware with all supplies necessary to set up so if you don't have your own tools don't worry you don't need one everything is included to get your bed up in the air. That said, power tools will speed up the process exponentially, though i did this using the tools offered as I prefer to test out the product as given. The only thing that was slightly challenging was using the funny ball end screw thing to tighten the footboard bolts in that awkward side screw position, but I used my fingers to tighten it as much as possible and used the ball end to do the rest, and it did. Oh, and the only flaw I saw at all was one of the four middle support feet was pre-drilled a little off center, but given it'll never be visible and does not affect the structure, it was and is no big deal. Some mentioned creeks but I'm thinking maybe they didn't tighten their screws tight enough because this thing is sold, but I've got this on carpet at my place so maybe that helps too, but no creeks here at all. Also others complained about screwing in all the slats but I didn't bother screwing all of them into the frame and, obviously, it's working fine. If I was in my forever home I probably would, but since I'm not, a few strategically placed screws work fine, or, as my prior frame did, you can put down velcro tape and that works great for keeping things in place but easily movable too. Finally, I have to say I'm pleasantly impressed with the fabric headboard. I had intended to order the white one but when I went to order the item I switched the size and the color switched too and I didn't catch the switcherroo in time, so I have the oat one instead. While the oat isn't the neural white color I wanted it doesn't scream tan as much as I was afraid it would, so it's not a totally tragic situation and the material is really fantastic. My toddler kept calling it his new pillow and tried to use it like that refusing to use his own actual pillow, so much so that he fell asleep with his neck up against it half cocked like he thought it was cozy. And it is, as it's some sort of boucle fabric that the company says is made up of CertiPUR-US certified foam and OEKO-TEX certified fabrics, which I can't verify but is nice to know. Oh, and yeah, no strong smells came out of the box, so that's good for those sensitive to such things. And that about covers it! Stellar find for sure...can't wait to try other pieces of furniture as I poked around and they have quite a nice line-up. ... show more

I'd had the same bed frame for about 10 years; it required a box spring and I have a very thick mattress so the whole thing was quite high up. I decided to try a bed frame that doesn't need a box spring, for easier access as I age. I was anxious about it still being comfortable- but it is! + Equally as comfortable as my big high mattress and box spring bed. + A lot easier to get in and out of; this is important as I advance into my 60s. + Very well made - solid wood (so the package it comes in is SUPER heavy). + It has a nice, understated MCM look with a low profile; it's very attractive. NOTE ON ASSEMBLY: My son put it together for me and it took him a little more than an hour. He says the directions were clear and the included ratchet made things easier. ... show more

This product was easy to put together and looks very expensive so I’m impressed with the quality you get for the price. It’s super heavy though so you’ll need an extra person to help move it. The headboard is soft and cute! It adds a great style to my farm house aesthetic

I've been sleeping on one of those metal frames which was super noisy and uncomfortable, so decided to get this frame which is made with quality wood and it's comfortable and noise-free. Assembly takes about 35 minutes and it's simple. All slats are wooden and super durable which can take a decent amount of weight. I love this bed! It’s so gorgeous! It’s fairly simple to put together but is easier with two sets of hands. It is heavy so you want two people to at least put it into place. There were a few parts that required a little extra effort to put into place but overall it went together easily- no longer than 30 minutes. The fabric is beautiful! It is good quality and sturdy.     • Pretty simple to set up. Feels sturdy
I was able to get this bed set up almost by myself in about 2 hours. It was pretty simple to set up but just a lot of screws to use. It feels pretty sturdy and the headboard looks good with different colored walls or carpets. Good bed frame for the price.
