Thrift stores have huge libraries of DVDs for a dollar so I thought this would be a good idea. I purchased this player for our minivan. My son kicked it and it stopped working. It obviously seemed like it was our fault so I bought the same one again and within a month it stopped working. I put a disc in and it didn’t work. I tried other discs and same result. It states there is a warranty but the number doesn’t work. I recommend avoiding this brand of DVD player. Also, even when it did work certain discs wouldn’t play, such as Redbox DVD’s. ... show more

My only complaint is that the volume buttons on the machine actually make the video skip instead. Also, unless you're in the back seat with it, the remote doesn't function. But overall it's been a good purchase.

When I first received this DVD player, I was very pleased with the size, appearance, and picture quality. However, my unit had an issue with the piece that closes over the dvd, so it wouldn’t play the dvd- it would stop every few minutes and say the cover was open. This company reached out to me based on my previous, and since deleted, review. They made good and I now have a unit that works wonderfully. I have never before received such stellar customer service. I highly recommend this DVD player and can say that if you order this product, you won’t be disappointed!
