Ordered 9/6/20; received 9/7/20; reviewed 11/24/20 after 60 days of actual, in-car use. When it was time to purchase video devices to keep my kids entertained in the back seat, I narrowed it down to a well-known name, RCA, and Wonnie. After reading many reviews, Wonnie appeared to be the best and most versatile. I am not disappointed at all with this purchase. If you hate reviews that are posted without a rigorous trial, then this review is for you. I waited 60 actual use days to see if this is worth getting for our other vehicles. Conclusion: absolutely. Here are the pros and cons for those wanting to know more. Pros: Dual Units: Two units that can be operated in sync (playing from one to both) or independently (playing separate videos). Love this so the kids can watch the same movie, different movies, or I can run the video from one unit while the youngest (toddler) is watching and can’t mess with it. Connecting: The screens connect together with a standard AV/RCA cord, nothing proprietary. Easily replaceable if broken. We have so many in our collection from other devices we’ll never have to buy a new one. Audio output: Standard 3.5mm headphone jack runs headphones or to the car where I just run the kid’s rear speakers. The built-in speakers also serve their purpose, though minimally. Picture quality: As can be seen by the accompanying pictures, the screen quality is great for the price. The kids don’t complain compared to our 4K home units and at this price, you won’t find 4K if it even exists. Power: The devices are powered in three ways: 12v cigarette lighter, 120v AC cord (for our electric/hybrid cars or if you don’t have an AC plug or lighter, use an inverter which is cheap), and rechargeable batteries. We have had zero issues with the batteries and have exceeded the 5-hour charge time. It’s so great to just be able to leave the car and the kids can continue watching while walking to the store or doctor’s office, in the building, while waiting, and back to the car. No more running amuck! What a blessing! Control: It’s easy to load videos and the playing quality is spot on without any skipping that we’ve noticed. Just pull the screen forward and slid in the disk. Menus are quite simple and intuitive and can be controlled manually or with remote control. Installation: one of the best features is you can use the traditional strap across the headrest, which bothers my wife, or use the under the headrest attachment. Both are shown in the photos. Under the headrest does not rattle and bounce as we thought it would. Cons: Audio: The built-in speakers are not the greatest but not a single complaint from the kids. Better to use headphones or the in-car audio. No Bluetooth or wireless out to the speaks but at this price, you won’t find that anywhere. No streaming but that’s not what we want to hassle with so if it’s what you want, this model is not for you. ... show more

We bought these for our road trip. 40+ hours on the road roundtrip and two kids ages 5 and 10. We specifically wanted dual players that could play two different movies, we needed this specific vacation to be as stress free as possible. And two kids fighting over a movie did not sound fun. The ONLY thing we had to purchase separately were headphones, and that was not a problem. We loved that there were two ways to mount the players. Super easy install and stable/firm. Each kid had their own remote (that works on either player). No sharing, no fighting. When they did want to watch the same movie all we did was connect both players together with the cords provided and bam. Done. The one and only hiccup we have experienced so far was one DVD player did not want to read a disc at one point during our trip (we then connected it to the other one to share the movie.) The next day, it turned on and read the disc just fine. And haven’t had a problem since. The video quality is not a problem. The kids watched the movies just fine, no complaints about sound, or remotes, or trouble shooting. They’re portable DVD players, not a HD 4k TV, so the picture quality is just fine for our kids. We simple unclip them for the night or when not in the vehicle, and take them with us. We charge them inside. And once they run out of battery in the car, we charge them in the car with the charger provided as well. It comes with everything you will need to make them work and enjoyable. We bought these before a road trip for our 2 and 8 year old. They work well and adjust easily. Install was super simple. They have individual dvd players in each of the screens which was great so that there was no fighting over what to watch. Picture is great! The only downside was that some of our DVDs were not in a "readable format." Overall, they're great! We are considering buying a second set for my husband's car as well! ... show more

Product arrived in good condition. DVD players were well protected in packaging and screens and other accessories were intact. On opening, the battery had good juice to watch part of a Movie and allowed me to test all the features before having to recharge battery fully. Picture quality was decent for a small 10.5 “ screen and volume was good. Both DVD screens worked well. My kids wear able to watch 2 different movies at same time and we also mirrored a single DVD screen to make sure it was working well. I connected the aux cable to DVD player and to the car and was able to to have the audio play directly on my car speakers. Depending on location of your cigarette lighter (12V auxiliary output) you may need a longer cable if you choose to tuck in the cables under the seat covers (leather) and then hide rest of cables under the front seats to get to the dashboard. If this doesn’t matter to you or you do not want to go through all that work to make it look like a professional installation, then car power cable is sufficient. There are several other charging options included including UK and US outlets which helps if you are traveling with the DVD players. It includes 2 remote controls, 1 for each DVD player. One remote can control both DVD players (just point directly to one you want to control). Strapping the DVD player to the front seat Headrest was easy and 2 options were included. The mounting brackets worked but the DVD player ended up sticking out too far out from the back of the headrest of the front seats. This puts the DVD a bit in the way and at risk of possible damage while entering the car. I secured by using the straps provided and attached it to the headrest connectors and this appeared very study and secure. I will definitely recommend this DVD player to anymore. Quality is very good for the price and its very functional. Time will tell how long battery lasts and hope I can use this for many years to come. Comes with 1 Year warranty ... show more
