The thread is lovely, but the colors are much lighter in person than in the listing photo. For instance the thread in the bottom right corner of the listing photo looks distinctly gray, but is in fact white in person. It is fine for my purposes, but just be aware if you are trying to color match something. This box of perle cotton arrived promptly and was well packaged such that I can continue to use the case containing the cotton until I use it down a bit. The colors are a very nice selection and will be useful in the project I am working on. Will use this seller again.

I used these for quilting. They frayed too easily at the ends and the thread broke in the middle of working more than once. The colors are wonderful, but the quality of the thread could certainly be better.

Gorgeous colors. That's about it. No 1 issue: wow. I feel ripped off. These balls are so tiny!! No 2 issue: value for money = 1 star. For the money paid, I expected more. No 3 issue: can't match dye lots the way these are packaged and sold, this also makes the small rolls even more less appealing. No 4 issue: "amount of yards" misleading! - 42 yd TOTAL/box - (they should be more up front about 42/roll or 42/box) Recommendation: wouldn't buy again. Don't recommend. see picture 6... stick with Lizbeth rolls! ... show more
